Quinnipiac University Poll ^ | 06/01/2016 | Tim Malloy

A titanic clash of the sexes leaves Democrat Hillary Clinton with a small 45 - 41 percent lead over Republican Donald Trump in the race for president, according to a Quinnipiac University National poll released today.

When third party candidates are added to the mix, Clinton gets 40 percent with Trump at 38 percent, too close to call, the independent Quinnipiac (KWIN-uh-pe-ack) University Poll finds. Libertarian Party candidate Gary Johnson gets 5 percent and Green Party candidate Jill Stein gets 3 percent.

Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont leads Trump among all American voters 48 - 39 percent, but trails Clinton among Democrats 53 - 39 percent.

In a Clinton-Trump matchup, men go Republican 51 - 35 percent, while women go Democratic 54 - 30 percent. Republicans back Trump 86 - 4 percent and Democrats back Clinton 90 - 6 percent. Independent voters are divided, with 40 percent for Trump and 37 percent for Clinton.

and it may be the first time in history where we have seen one race of women single handedly destroy their brothers, husbands, sons, fathers, uncles to hand everything over to another or more than one race.

People keep giving women excuses, but women voters is exactly why Europe support mass immigration. You can thank women voters for the mass rape culture

BS push poll. I don’t care how well reviewed this poll has been.

8% for alternate candidates is too high with a 10% sample. The standard model used to be D+4 (in a decent year for RATS) and D+2 (in a good year from GOP). They work these poll numbers to create a “race,” remember pollsters need to be needed and media needs to sell ads, neither of which are needed if a blowout is expected.

I’ve no reason to believe they’re fudging the samples.

Let’s not forget the ‘Unskewed Polls’ disaster in 2012 lol.

Bingo. Media hires polling firm. Poling firm creates "results" needed to pump up clicks and encourage ad spending.

Registered voters = meaningless

Self-identification of party = meaningless

‘Leaning’ = meaningless, especially as it’s strictly a policy wonk/pollster designation

Any poll conducted using land lines and a robodialer = meaningless and annoying

Who needs constitutional principles, the rule of law or economics when you can have nice, scary, creepy, like/dislike as your voting criteria?

We need to approach this election with the belief that we will have to fight for every single vote right up until the last polling place closes. Too many people here have been making assumptions that could cost us dearly in November. We cannot arbitrarily dismiss polls we don’t agree with as “biased.” We cannot assume that “Hillary’s health will force her to drop out of the race.” We cannot assume that “Hillary will be indicted and forced to drop out of the race.” We cannot assume that “Trump will win in a landslide.” We must be prepared to fight for every single vote and proceed accordingly.

One reason the polls understate Trump’s support is their sample sets. There are groups in which Trump’s support is massive. Coal miners and veterans/military are two examples.

The other day in California while Trump was rallying 10,000+, Clinton was eating waffles with 70 people. I saw another one of her recent California events where she spoke in a High School gym to a few hundred people. I don’t see much enthusiasm out there for her. Even my daughter who voted for 0bama twice, says that she is going to vote for Trump, and that almost everyone she knows is going to vote for him, and that’s here in liberal Minnesota.

Which is why we need to force Hillary Clinton into saying that 18 year old females need to register for Selective Service. Women at a young age need to understand that there is more to life than killing babies and equal pay. They may have to actually contribute to the strength of this nation if needed. This is a new breed. The principles of the past are no longer in vogue. If women want to subscribe to the “we can do what a man can do (and sometimes better),” then they can advance that notion. How many women will actually cheer if they hear Clinton say “Go register for a potential draft” or “No, only men should register because women can’t do that.” Her third option is to eliminate the requirement for males but that would be indicative of her saying women are weaker.
