"I’m sure that very little boy has contusions and serious bruising. I wouldn’t be surprised if his arm wasn’t torn out of its socket."

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zfuz7cTDNeI

"I’m not blaming anyone. Children move quickly. All the mother had to do was turn her head."

I'm not either, although the Zoo administration will probably have a better barrier built. In political speech, lefties tend to say, "Stop" [this], or "stop" [that], but bad things will continue to happen. We can only revert to thousands of years of wisdoms to prevent some bad things from happening very often.

"Gorillas may be protected species but they are not protected under hate speech. And I hate gorillas!"

It's natural to hate them. People who lived near gorilla populations in their original environment hated them for good reasons.

re: reporters telling the truth

In this case they seem to be trying to sort it out. All of the issues were coming up....parental supervision, adequate safeguards, other alternatives, was the child in danger etc.

The more I think about it, the zoo is at fault. It's a "given" that a lot of parents are irresponsible. It could also easily happen with a field trip. There should be some kind of barrier or enclosure that stops the animals from getting out and people from getting in. Why? The zoos have a primary obligation to keep the animals safe and secure. I'm not at all comfortable with a situation where the animal had to be killed when it wasn't at fault.

I think of the zoo near here. There are situations where they assume the animals can't get out. If provoked, I'd wager some of them could. But a lot of those habitats are such that people could get in.

They stink, they’re ugly and they almost destroyed the Empire State building in the 1930s.

Check out a new thread in which a monkey-loving freeper wants us to sign a petition to demand ‘justice’ for a monkey. And we say only democrats are dumb!

At the same time, in sane conditions, I love animals. They keep life going. Take this meat loaf, for example.

A spokesman for the zoo said the gorilla could squeeze a coconut and break it open.

The barriers at the exhibit exceeded the protocols. The boy climbed over the fence very quickly and fell into the water very quickly.

A lot of news reports purposely edited out the parts of the video where the gorilla flings the boy through the water. And they never mentioned that, before the video began, the gorilla threw the boy against the wall. That throw is probably what cause the boy’s concussion.

That what I mean by saying that many did not report the truth. They had the truth because they had the entire video and the witnesses’ statements. They decided to not report that side of it.

But you can believe whatever you choose to believe.

Wow, is that the only thing you could think of.

Too many freepers are very judgmental.

What I'm suggesting is that perhaps the protocols aren't enough to protect the animals from stupid people. I'm basing it partly on observation at the zoo near here. I've also suggested that with an open exhibit such as this one with gorillas, it seems a zoo attendant should be present when the exhibit is being viewed by the public.

Interesting that article since yesterday I was told that gorillas are the Quakers of the animal kingdom.

I'll do that. On those misunderstanding our Constitution (rights for people--not animals), most of them might be Democrats. By being anonymous, donating and getting more involved in Republican discussions over the years, they've turned both parties toward socialism and social pathologies.

The problem with these Einsteins is that they went to You Tube and watched the wrong video. The one they’re watching is of a little white boy who fell into a gorilla enclosure, knocked himself out and then, eventually scared off the female gorilla by screaming.

They didn’t bother looking for this one which clearly features a little black boy.

Well, you’re suggesting now for the first time. As fast as this thing happened, a single attendant couldn’t have stopped it either.

Face it, determined children cannot be protected 100% from all of their misadventures.

My first reaction, after the blame the mother reports first came in, was that the parents should be sued. Now that I’ve heard the facts, I retract that statement.

Yes! Republicans - and I think we’re all guilty of this unless we examine our consciences before we go to bed each night - absorb liberal social values just as much as Demon-crats. That’s why we must speak out, ridicule and mock, this type of hysterical emotional response to the death of a goddamned gorilla.

Mockery is a great tool.
