Ole Miss-conduct in a nutshell: Laremy Tunsil's 5 parents, 4 loaners

When Mississippi shocked the college football world and signed the No. 7 recruiting class in the nation in February 2013, it didn't pass the smell test for a lot of people in and around the sport.

Three years later, we can say with reasonable certainty that their noses did not deceive them. There was a questionable odor coming from Oxford then, and it is lingering over Hugh Freeze's program to this day.

Naturally, my team, the Miami Dolphins, drafted Ole Miss offensive tackle Laremy Tunsil, after twelve teams in a row unexpectedly passed on him in the First Round.

Just three years ago, in 2013, the Dolphins traded up to Number 3 and drafted Oregon drug user, and part time defensive end, Dion Jordan.

Jordan was suspended all last season, and still has not been reinstated by the NFL for 2017.

Jordan turned out to be so useless at DE he was reassigned to covering tight ends on third down passing plays.

In all fairness, Jordan did a good job covering New England TE Rob Gronkowski for two games in 2014 - but that was not what we paid him Number 3 money to do.

Actually, $cam and Reggie were very different.

Bush’s family took money from an agent for future NFL payouts. $cam’s dad (a “reverend”) shopped $cam around to play for a college team, and admitted doing so.

Both violated NCAA rules. One resulted in penalties and sanctions, the other was explained away with an after-the-fact-exception-to-the rule. One ended in a revoked Heiman award and a vacated NCAA championship. The other resulted in neither.

Watch $cam’s explanation toward the end of “Roll Tide, wxx exxxx”. So happy the Ware snuffed him out during and trolled him after SBL. Beautiful karma.

A friend of mine was telling me about a friend of his grand daughter’s who’s signed with Kentucky to play basketball. He hasn’t even reported to school yet and he’s always carrying around a big wad of cash. And he’s always wearing brand new Nike clothing and shoes and gives shoes to his friends.

This kid is so good they think he’ll only play one year at Kentucky then go pro. So the “guess” is that it’s Nike paying someone in the family who gives it to the kid. They want to sign him early.

In my dads day in the early 50s it was wide open

He was High School all American tight end from Clinton Mississippi just west of Jackson and was offered cars by Miss State and Georgia Tech and Tulsa

Cash from Notre Dame

Cash from Tulane

Cash from Ole Miss

Cash from Alabama

Something from Texas and Michigan

Went to VMI on full ride only for scholastics and little hope of rankings but he got to play for John McKenna who was a remarkable man

Tulane....the green wave... was a ranked school then as was Tech

Drafted by Giants 55 but went USAF 2nd lt. Instead for 7 years

I think most schools stretch it for sure maybe only Vandy and SMU in my part of the country don’t....Vandy because of grades and SMU for fear...they know better than anyone the price

Ole’ Miss will do anything for a black athlete. One of the first things they did was to eliminate the heritage of the University by vilifying the former Confederates that died during the Civil War that were Ole’ Miss students. Ole’ Miss has all but eliminated the heritage for black athletes.

My after in law played for Coach McKenna. Later coached under Vito Ragazza (think that’s right). He coached there with Bobby Ross. They revered Coach.
