On April 23, 2016, I declared my independence. The towers of the university where I work reflected the orange glare of L.A.'s sunset. It was Saturday, but I'd driven all the way to campus to do something, I realized, I should have done eight years ago. The office was empty, as one would expect. The security cameras probably captured becoming footage of my lone figure walking down the seventh floor hallway and throwing open the door to my private office.
Then I climbed over the desk and let my arms dangle in the space between the desk and the wall. Each of the connections was there. I unplugged the power, the network cable, the printer cables, the Ethernet, and everything that allowed the world at large to stay connected to the computer in my office. When all the connections were pulled, I lifted the computer up and hid it in a safe place.
The emails and social media of several prior weeks had gradually convinced me. The urban legends about employers spying on employees were not paranoid fantasy. It had become clear to me that someone had been going through the documents on my computer and hacked into my personal email accounts through the desktop at work. Someone must have physically entered my office, having obtained the key from staff, or gotten into the hard drive through the network cables. For years the coincidences had been too numerous and bizarre. For a while, though, I didn't have proof.

I mean, I don’t oppose SOME level of effort. There are organizations like FIRE (Foundation for Individual Rights in Academia). They can help schools with a few trouble cases do what they may have wanted to but lacked the courage. But if Caesar has to climb all over the school to get it to do what it manifestly does not want to do as a whole... odds are that the effort is in vain and it will rebel in some other way and if there are any honest students left they are wise to go elsewhere.

I’ll say it again. We must take over the MSM. Not Limbaugh, not Beck, not Levin.

By “take over” I mean an “all of the above” approach.

The exact OPPOSITE of this George W. Bush conservative type who withdrew from every chance to stand up for right minded positions. Until he couldn’t take it anymore and deserted, not a refugee, a DESERTER.
Just like George W. Bush, took it on the chin (OUR chins as well) for EIGHT YEARS and then continuing for SEVEN MORE YEARS of the Obama debacle. NEVER standing up for himself (and US) or defending himself.
What a strategy, heh? Worked great didn’t it? That really “showed ‘em”! That really STOPPED ‘em, NOT.
FIFTEEN YEARS of our president (and by extension US), cowering to the left, has brought us to today where a brash, no holds barred, even vulgar at times, HERO (yes, I said hero) has appeared on the battlefield ......

Trump won’t take any crap. A counter-puncher who punches back twice as hard (The wall just got Ten feet higher). No shrinking violet he. A patriot, a man who LOVES THIS COUNTRY as much as he loves his kids. A proud man, who is as proud of what this country USED to be like as he is of his exceptional successful children.
A flawed man, yes, but who among YOU can cast the first stone? Not I. I REFUSE to dwell on his faults (which we all have) instead focus on his vastly outnumbering positives.
He is a HERO in the truest sense of the word. He has come just in time to save the day. Not a moment too soon. While in his dead duck days, Obama (Satan) is continuing to further destroy the whole country with Syrian Muslim refugees in every community and transgender perverts in every bathroom.
Our Hero has an evil opponent, Hillary (Satan’s spawn), who will follow in her father’s hoof prints.
SHE MUST BE DEFEATED!!! A nice, go along to get along, or a hide in the trenches conservative will not GET THE JOB DONE! We need a HERO and Donald J Trump is the only mortal Hero who has a chance to save our country and our society from evil destruction. Times UP! This election can save us, but a loss will definitely DOOM us.
So, to the #NeverTrumpers and the Cruz/Kaysick and the Paul Ryan/Mitt Romney winer holdouts, STOP with your crybaby selfish ways and join our Hero and WIN this fight. Our Hero is a proven WINNER, not a politician. What we need NOW is a WINNER, a HERO
