Hillary Moves Feminism Forward by Saying She’ll Put Her Husband in Charge of the Economy

May 16, 2016

By Brian Carey

This is what we call “progress for women.” If you define “progress for women” as “letting your adulterous husband whom you should have divorced years ago handle the job because it’s too difficult for you” and “proving you’re a submissive wife by rewarding your husband’s philandering with high-profile responsibility.”

Hillary Rodham Clinton, while dodging FBI questioners, announced today that she’ll put Bill Clinton and his overzealous sex organ in charge of the economy.

That is, if the American people are dumb enough to elect her president.

In fairness to Lady Pantsuit, though, Big Bill did make some good decisions as president back in the 1990s. He cut taxes on rich people by eliminating the Luxury Tax. He cut the capital gains tax. He also implemented welfare reform.

Sadly, though, those are all ideas that the Sandernistas in her party find to be about as tolerable as genocide (against Native Americans, not Jews). In other words, Billy Jeff won’t be able to accomplish again what he accomplished with a GOP congress back in the day.

And I’m anxiously waiting for proud feminists everywhere to ask Hillary why she thinks that somebody with a vagina can’t handle the economy.

Bill will be in charging of “vetting” the WH interns regardless of his title. His only other qualification is fouling the sink in the Oval Office restroom... Truly an American Icon!

Exactly, it WAS Bill’s economy, only the last name was “Gates”.

Bill Clinton had five major advantages all woking simultaneously and synergistically

1) tech boom
2) the demographic of the baby boomers suddenly reaching their 40-50 years of age peak earning phase and simultaneously deciding they needed to save and invest for their retirement
3) fall of communism
4) year 2000 computer preparations 5) Alan Greenspan opening up the Fed floodgates to help float Clinton popularity ti avert impeachment

Clinton’s economy is over rated. And though it was good, Newt and the contract had little to do with it either. And Algore did nothing of course.

it was basically the end of the cold war combined with the explosion of computers and the internet. That was a blast to the economy like nothing seen since the printing press was invented.

Daffy duck could have been president and the 90s would have roared. And it all unfolded so fast and the leaders were so ignorant about what it was, that the government couldn’t really impede it.

I don’t know who this guy Brian Carey is, but he’s trying to create a phony issue. And therefore his ‘outrage’ is less than genuine.

Hillary’s playing to the (mistaken) belief by the left that Bill Clinton is responsible for the economic expansion during his tenure. That’s all.

This is not a statement by Hillary that a woman cannot handle the job. Mr. Carey needs to get a grip.

[[Bill was lucky he was POTUS during the tech boom.]]

Bill was lucky he was POTUS with a Republican controlled congress that cared about America’s economy

Bill Clinton benefitted from Reaganomics. Carter dug us so deep in the hole it took over a decade for Reagan’s policies to gather a full head of steam. Clinton arrived precisely at the right time.

The ‘94 midterms kept Clinton from wrecking it with tax hikes and socialized medicine.

Hmm so after 8 years of the Leftist dream President ruling by decree with a rubber stamp Congress, we have to “fix the economy”?

Why should we put the people who broke the economy in charge of “fixing” it?

All of those good things, Clinton did were forced upon him by Newt Gingrich and the Republican Contract with America. Clinton does not deserve any praise whatsoever; Newt Gingrich does. All Clinton did was call himself the leader, and jump in front of the parade that was already passing by.

What a joke!

Bill Clinton doesn’t want to work.

And he especially wouldn’t want anything to do with the economy after Barack Obama leaves office.

Anyone serious about straightening out the economy is going to have to implement a lot of changes that will be very unpopular
with the democrats Moocher/Socialist/Wealth-Redistribution voting bloc.

Does anyone think either Clinton would do that?

The alternative is to just let the socialist deficit spending keep running until the economy finally crumbles.

That’s the course Hillary will take.

Frankly Bill Clinton looks so unhealthy to me, I doubt he’d have the energy.

I am frankly disappointed that Trump is our nominee. Suffice it to say that he was not my first choice.

But anyone who is still struggling to find a reason to vote for Trump need look no further. Just keep repeating to yourself, “Presidents Bill and Hillary Clinton.”

This is great! The economy is the number one issue to most Americans.
Mrs. Clinton just admitted she can’t handle that issue, and will therefore hand it off to hubby. If this isn’t an admission that she isn’t qualified to be prez, I don’t know what is.

I guess you are right. Clinton proved that you can raise taxes and grow the economy! If it wasn't for that pesky internet revolution, Clinton's economy would have been stronger.

No, Clinton proved that raising taxes makes your economy stall until a Republican Congress forces you to sign welfare reform, a balanced (kinda) budget, and a capital gains tax cut.

Hillary should assign Bill to be in charge of the interns, something he has a passion for and knows a lot about.
