When I was 19 years old, I worked in a factory. My supervisor told be how her husband believed it proper to beat his wife, but she unloaded every cabinet in their kitchen and all the dishes, pots and pans went flying in his direction. That drove him out of their house, and she told him through the back door he could not come back into their marriage until he promised not to strike her — ever!

He promised her never to raise his hand against her. They were married nearly forty years until he died in a traffic accident.

It is odd how fast Cruz dropped out once his dad’s past was brought into the mix. If you run as a republican your life is under a microscope. If you run as a dim not so much. I find it really odd that the first black president hasn’t had detailed biographies done of his life. Nothing about his mother, his typical white grandmother, his grandfather, his life in Indonesia with his stepfather, nothing.
