Coffee conglomerate Starbucks is being sued for $5 million over the amount of ice the drink-maker puts in its iced beverages.
According to The Telegraph, Stacy Pincus filed a 29-page complaint in Northern Illinois Federal Court in Chicago last week. Pincus alleges that Starbucks customers are being misled because the companys iced drinks contain just over half the drink they are paying for.

i hope the liberal ####S lose the case.
though they do seem to support the vets quite a bit.
A class action, just like against Trump University and a million other companies.
The lawyer equivalent of a drive-by shooting. The last one was Subway being pinged for 11-inch “foot long” subs.
if she doesn’t like the recipe for the drink, just don’t buy it.
Or just say "No ice, please." Or just say "Ice on the side, please."
That made the six-inch ones shorter too, since the foot-long bread gets cut in half. They then raised the price a bit, of course.
not sure if it could be a violation of Weights an Measures? claiming to seek an item of certain weight or volume and is not really full amount.
(I did not read article yet)
Apparently Lowes got dinged a while back for selling boards 1.5” x 3.5” and calling them “2x4”.
I have cold sensitive teeth and ask for no or light.
Customers MISLED ??? How ???
So?
I know people whose feet are only 6 or 7 inches.
“if she doesnt like the recipe for the drink, just dont buy it.”
That is a concept that I can never make liberals who rail about big corporation this and big corporation that...the big corporation only makes money if Joe Public A willingly buys their goods and services. With the one exception of O’Bunghole Care Nobody in this country is coerced to buy a single thing. Though I have noticed special contempt for companies that produce things people “need”...yeah the types of things that never existed in all of 50 kiloyears of human history up to 20, 50, or 100 years ago
Paging Saul Goodman. Paging Saul Goodman.
drink is sold as an iced drink. you should expect a lot of ice in it. I hope its laughed out of court.
Mikey Ds used to be all about over iced drinkeys.
Has anybody noticed that a lot of beer companies are now selling 11.2 oz bottles? They are still the same size as 12 oz bottles but there is now a larger indentation on the bottom of the glass.
If one thing should be made illegal, it should be the “class action lawsuit”
This stuff is getting out of hand
Companies should not have to defend themselves against of ambulance chasing lawyers who don’t have real cases to be working on.
I haven’t seen a real 2x4 in decades
They all have that 1.5” x 3.5” measurement
no kidding, you have to ask them for light ice
