Pro-life groups are extremely concerned by comments he made about rewriting the party’s pro-life platform.
He also spoke out against North Carolina’s decision to strike down Charlotte’s so-called bathroom bill.
“The problem with what happened in North Carolina is the strife and the economic punishment that they’re taking,” he said on the "Today Show." With all due respect, the problem in North Carolina was big business trying to bully and intimidate moms and dads who want to protect their daughters.
“In the last 48 hours, Donald Trump has come out for grown men going into the bathrooms with little girls,” Cruz said. “That is politically correctness on steroids

That is issue 1,000 for me. While this is going on, the debt jumped 36 billion, hundreds killed by ISIS, thousand came across the border, thousands lost their jobs. Yep! Your priorities are impressive. Ugh!

One can never be conservative if one is not a social conservative.
DT is definitely not a social conservative, and will never be elevated to be a conservative.
And let’s go one step further: Trump’s “conservatism” is how conservatism will now be defined. We’ve lost our nation at that point. At least now we have real conservatism to hold on to.

Conservatives must realize that social conservatism is the bedrock principle of the Founders. It is called in a nutshell religious morality, and it the reason why those brave souls then killed and got killed to better this land.

Where the author of this piece been? He’s been campaigning as a conservative? When did this start? Right out of the campaign gate, he blasted conservatives and what we stand for, stating it was government’s role to take care of everyone, and “you conservative” would “just have to get used to it!”. He has taken ultra-liberal, big government positions on pretty much every issue across the board - these latest issues mentioned are just the most recent things. And of course, the Trump supporters find a way to justify this ultra liberal agenda - even stating that the continued destruction of the culture is not an important issue, therefore, we shouldn’t mind enthusiastically supporting someone who champions the same. There are many Democrats, who aren’t conservative in the least, that are arguably to his right.
George W. Bush signed into law the ban of partial-birth abortions, appointed judges which resulted in it being upheld constitutionally, reinstated the Mexico City policy his very first day in office and also extended this policy to all State Department programs, blocked federal spending on destroying more embryos for embryonic stem cell research, born alive infants protection act, blocked funding for UNFPA, signed unborn victims of violence act, etc.
