I just jumped into Win 10 from XP and all I can say is Win 10 is common core computing...

I'm about to purchase a new computer that will likely have Win 10 (I'm on XP) and I have no idea about what you just said.......

Well, what I mean by comparing Win 10 to Common Core is all the extra clicking around I'm having to do just to get down to the XP level of interface.

So far it's been a fun challenge to probe the depths of the beast.

If you’re buying a new machine, go to HP.com or Dell.com or BestBuy.com or elsewhere and SPECIAL ORDER something with Windows 7.

If you can’t find anything new besides Win 10, ask the seller if you can get a (higher priced) version that you can DOWNGRADE to Win 7.

Or go to eBay.com for a used one, tons available, check out the feedback to be sure you’re buying from a reputable seller.
