Cletus, you nailed it. That’s a big factor that won’t show up in any polls prior to the conventions. Trump isn’t afraid to go nuclear against his democrat opponent and speak in the kind of clear language that will resonate with regular Americans.

Hillary versus Cruz could go either way, especially if there’s an October surprise of some kind.

Hillary versus Trump will be a bloodbath that will shake the dems to their Marxist cores.

Trump talks at their level, Cruz comes off too eggheadish and affected.

What state (and or city) are you in, if you don’t mind sharing?

i usually make it a policy to read the whole thread before posting but i’m going to just jump in this time. By the way - great title to your post - you grabbed my attention.

I have seen the same thing. I live in conservative to libertarian ranch country and all are for trump. Who I work with (Lord give me strength) are your do-gooder-we -have -to-help-the-poor-babies type liberals, and they are Bernie supporters. I have YET to find a Cruz supporter.

not only that, but i see no reason Hillary won’t bring up the Canadian citizenship issue with Cruz - double whammy against Obama without directing against him or the media. what are they going to say?

It is iffy that Trump would beat the criminal hag. In the general, there will be a bloodletting frenzie by the left, all dems, the media, and some GOP to demonize Trump the likes of which you have never seen. The difference is Trump knows how to punch back and can draw crowds and momentum even in enemy territory. So there is a chance he can pull it off but don’t be giving out odds.

Cruz, on the other hand is dead fish. He’ll suffer the same bloodbath and has no crossover appeal whatsoever. Americans just aren’t going to the mats for a natural Canadian born grifter. He has no reach.

Re: your concerns and comments about Trump’s unfavorability ratings.
Take a look at the numbers from a Gallup chart which came out in November. Carson had the nighest net favorability, Trump the lowest. Look who’s winning now. Favorability does not mean anyone will vote for you, and unfavorability apparently doesn’t mean they won’t.

Favorable Unfavorable Net

Carson 42 21 +21
Fiorina 28 22 +6
Rubio 32 27 +5
Kasich 21 17 +4
Huckabee 32 28 +4
Bush 37 39 -2
Cruz 28 31 -3
Christie 28 38 -10
Trump 34 56 -22

Gallup Tracking 10/19-11/1/15

As landline phones have gone out of style, pollsters seem to be floundering. They have not developed new methods or models yet.

I never knew Ginger Ale drinkers had Favorite Bars.

Sure they do. The ones that serve Vernors!

I found a bar with root beer on tap! Also had it bottled in case the tap ran out, which was fairly often.

And no, it wasn’t ‘Not Your Father’s Root Beer’ either. LOL

Polls can and will change over 7 months' time.

It is you who are not only delusional, but are spreading propagandist "push polls" which have no ability to predict the future 7 months out.

For anyone to rely on such polls to make their voting decision is ludicrous.

I have a great idea: how about letting people listen to the candidates, use their own judgement, and choose their candidate based on their own common sense?

I know, weird, huh?

You see, they actually don't need your propaganda to help them decide.

Now, if indeed Donald Trump will be so easy to beat, then why are also these anti-Trump Media outlets so intent on convincing voters of that notion? You'd think they would want to de-emphasize such info in order to get the easiest opponent possible for their preferred candidate.

Or, alternately: do these media outlets instead have the best interest of the GOP voter at heart? Are they trying to heroically save GOP voters from making a bad decision?

How altruistic of them to inform us of how easily Hillary will beat Trump!

I've never gotten an answer to my questions from all the "push poll" fanboys. Not once.

It's kinda funny how the Establishment propaganda goals, the Left's propaganda goals, The Media's propganda goals, the GOPe's propaganda goals, and the Cruz campaign's propaganda goals all seem to overlap on this urgent need to inform the GOP electorate of the folly of nominating Donald Trump.

The fact is, they're all scared sh!tless that the DC status quo might actually get shaken to its core, and be held accountable by the American People, and they will engage in the most slanted, sleazy character assassination campaign of the modern era in an all-out effort to stem that tide in any way possible.

And you're part of it...

Yeah, we distrusted the polls in 2012 and they were right. Trump supporters distrusted the polls in Wisconsin and, aside for the laughable ARG poll, they were right.

Polling a week out, usually accurate. Pollsters can't afford to just make up the results.

Polling six months out, usually pulled out of an orifice. All polling firms are loyal to the agenda. What is the agenda, you may ask? Globalism. One world government. Dissolving all nations.

As far as your average establishment shill is concerned Trump is the essence of evil. They will do anything to stop him, including fabricating these polls to provide ammunition for the Cruz dead enders they'll betray as soon as he's outlived his usefulness.

The bar talk was just one example of where I'm hearing all these pro-Trump comments. Here's another: I was at a county fair last summer. Heard the same thing. Lots of talk about Trump, and some about Bernie. Zero enthusiasm for Cruz. Zero enthusiasm for Hillary.

I guess this is my point: The blue-collar folks are being betrayed by DC, and they know it. They're from Democrat families, but they will go for Trump, just like they did with Reagan.
