You don’t anymore pro-life than Mike Huckabee and Ben Carson so they also care to differ.

I’ve yet to hear a logically consistent answer.

Here's a start. Perhaps read the linked article in full....

States relied on various techniques of statutory interpretation, along with the generally held belief that women were victims of their abortions, to support their decisions to refrain from prosecuting women. As the appeals court in the District of Columbia wrote in 1901, “[b]y its terms, [D.C. Code Ann. § 809 (1901)] applies to the person or persons committing the act which produces the miscarriage, and not to the person upon whom it is committed, notwithstanding it may be done with her knowledge and consent. Not being liable to indictment thereunder, she is not an accomplice in the legal sense.”6 Based on the fact that abortion was dangerous and often fatal up to the 19th century, women were seen as victims. In addition, another main reason for the non-prosecution of women is that relieving women from criminal liability provided states with a better chance of achieving convictions against abortionists—the principal.

I was listening to Trump's words about this whole subject this morning.

He actually prefaced it with "a small segment of the Republican party" indicating that there are some pro-lifers who had the opinion that women who have abortions need to be punished.

In what universe?

I know of NO pro-lifers in the many segments of the pro-life contingent who has EVER advocated for punishing the women.

Where the hell is he getting his information?

Most haven’t ever been asked to consider the question

If abortion becomes illegal, then what happens to women who have them? Does the govt prosecute?

He consulted with himself. He has a good brain.

Idiocy.

They’ve become like the Seinfeld episode where Kramer refused to wear the AIDS ribbon while he did the AIDS walk.

.
The real issue that you appear to side-step is the high percentage of Trump’s hip-shot pronouncements that his supporters must dismiss in order to keep supporting him.

So far more has been dismissed than has been retained.

Where will you draw the line (or will you draw a line)?

Before Donald Trump became a Republican candidate, he was "Very, Very Pro-Choice"

"NO" ..would not ban partial-birth

"Pro-Choice In Every Respect"

What you didn't know about him

Here’s the thing. It is a question of someone’s fundamental philosophy. At the head of your long list, I want someone who understands that killing an unborn baby is infanticide, period. No caveats.

And the liberal Paul Ryan of the Romney cabal, is Speaker of the House that keeps funding Plan Parenthood.

Cruz has performed the greatest unveiling to this nation.. he has outed the fake conservative cabal, of which he is a part. Thank you Cruz.

So sad, these NRO/National Review people. This “magazine” needs to go. It has become “Isvestia” of the GOPe.

A couple of points on that:
1. Jesus is coming back soon, and he will take care of all of these folks. You don’t have to worry about that.
2. You can’t read the mind of someone else, so you can’t tell what someone else understands. Elohim does, and that should be good enough for you.
3. We have been electing “pro-life” Republicans for decades and here we are.
4. If you are happy with the way things are, then go with a candidate that is funded by the people who got us to where we are.
5. If you are not happy with the way things are, then you have to take the chance with the guy who can’t be bought.

Haven’t you noticed that no weapon formed against Donald Trump has prospered? Why would that be?

Isaiah 54
17 No weapon formed against you shall prosper,
And every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn.
This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD,
And their righteousness is from Me,” Says the LORD.

Nelson, Thomas (2009-02-18). Holy Bible, New King James Version (NKJV) (p. 717). Thomas Nelson. Kindle Edition.

Every time Donald Trump says, “I love you!” to a crowd, I am reminded when Jesus said:
John 13
34 “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another.
35 “By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”

Nelson, Thomas (2009-02-18). Holy Bible, New King James Version (NKJV) (p. 1047). Thomas Nelson. Kindle Edition.

All the pro-lifers that I know look forward to the day when abortion is seen for what it really is - willful murder of the unborn. In the meantime, the issues that produce an environment where a woman will seek an abortion are all being discussed and acted upon.

The biggest concern is education. Planned Parenthood right now has free reign when it comes to educating for future clients. They should not be allowed to train young children about sex. On the contrary, pro-life education includes the remedy for countering the abortion-mentality and it also lines up with JPII's culture of life.

Back in the 1980s I stumbled across a study done by the Guttmacher Institute in which they asked women if they would still have an abortion if it were not legal. They found out that 90% of the women questioned said that they would not get an abortion if it were not legal. That means that only 10% would go into an illegal abortion clinic. What this really means is that 90% of the women have to be talked into having an abortion. So, statistically speaking the number of women who would search out an abortion is 10%.

With that being said having laws in place that prosecute health providers for performing abortions is very important. And the penalties must be stiff.

The most important thing though is to get to a point where life at all stages is honored by all the people. That is a very worthy goal.

As if the neo-con artists and their open borders toadies at the National Review give a $hit about being pro-life. All they are interested in is illegal invaders, and getting the US to send its men and women off to die in their never ending wars in the Middle East.
