Oh, yeah. It’s time for my annual message that the pro-life community should celebrate the Annunciation like it’s Christmas. That’s when the Lord came to be with us. Not 9 months later when He was born.

The [pro-life] Orthodox Church celebrates the Feast of the Annunciation every year as a matter of course, even if it falls on Holy Week!
In 2016, our Pascha (Easter) falls on May 1. So Annunciation is a kind of oasis early in Lent, just before the Sunday of St.Gregory Palamas!
The pro-life community should celebrate BOTH Annunciation and the Nativity, as well as the commemoration of the Holy Innocents that follows shorty after Christmas.
