Actually, I’m watching The Passion of the Christ on UP. I never saw it before.
Is that the one done by Tyler Perry and others.
Please don't tell us how it ends.
Not watching, but I had started the Of Kings & Prophets series on ABC. Watched Ep 1 and have Ep2 on TiVo. Ratings were so bad, it already got pulled from the schedule. I thought it was an okay series.
Amazing that anything Christian is found on TV today. I am pleasantly surprised with the show so far. I'm sure it will have it's critics, but at least the Good News of Jesus is being spread.
Yes, that is a good thing and it's been pretty good so far.

One of my favorite movies ever. Apparently a lot of strange things happened on set... Something did not want this movie to be made...
I just saw “The Ten Commandments” with Charlton Heston. It was in a local theater,(Cinemark) and it is the first time I have seen it on a theatre screen.
Absolutely stunning movie, one of the very best ever made.
It is on again later in the week and I just may go back and see it again.
Recording it for later...lets me fast forward through the commercials.
There is a reality behind all movies. I cannot even watch Hang 'Em High anymore; just learned that Inger Stevens died of a drug overdose at age 36; may God be merciful to her.
i’m watching Ben Hur on TMC...
I’ve personally not wished to do this, but the universal reaction of Christian friends who have, is that they are overwhelmed with what Jesus did for them. That’s why He died in a crucifixion, not, e.g., by being stoned. It was openly shocking. Call me a wimp but I am hesitant to eat steak tartare or rare, bloody prime rib, let alone watch this. Some day, I believe, I will see the actual Crucifixion from heaven.
(A secondary reason is that this was made around Roman Catholic theology concerning the occasion, which detail might or might not be right, but goes well beyond the bible in any case. However a plus is that it dares to show the gore that the evangelical Jesus movie sanitized.)
I believe secularist heads are exploding all over the internet and twitter right now
Had no idea this was on tonight...thanks for posting about it. From what I’ve seen, it’s very good...different...but good.
Watched it with the wife last night. Decent but not earth-shattering. It is always nice to see and hear some of the Truth about our Lord and Savior on TV, but I got “bored” with some of the sidelines (Katrina/the woman whose teenage son was “killed unnecessarily” 3 years ago and she wants God to give her justice and peace for it/the couple where the guy was in the military, etc.). Almost seemed like they wanted a vehicle for some other stuff - but it was worth watching overall - if you want a “modern day” version, look up “Jesus Christ Superstar” - may seem a bit outre’ but if one looks at the actual story - it’s all in there.
