BOMBSHELL: Ted Cruz Makes Plan To DROP OUT OF THE RACE!
The Politidcal Insider ^ | 2/29/16 | Kosar

A long-time political insider just made a bombshell announcement about conservative Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX), who is running for President.

This Republican operative, who has worked on 9 different presidential cycles, couldn’t keep it quiet any longer after being in talks with key leaders of Cruz’s and Senator Marco Rubio’s (R-FL) campaigns.

The insider is Roger Stone. He once worked for Donald Trump, and passed along his report to a popular radio host that Cruz used a high-priced attorney to confidentially request that Rubio’s team promise Cruz a Supreme Court appointment in exchange for Cruz exciting the race. This is in addition to recent reports that the candidates’ wives have been in contact, discussing why someone dropping out is essential.

Actually, Cruz is intrinsically sleazy.

I think that only applies when money is exchanged for a political favor.

Those two endorsements going to Rubio and Cruz means the fix is in. Cruz drops after Texas. We are counting delegates now.

Rubio needs to win 8 states of delegates. Cannot be nominee with 2nd place showings.

“Cruz said he would endorse Rubio!”

No he didn’t!

Your prediction does NOT make this a true story. AT. ALL.

He doesn’t work for Trump. Who he supporters doesn’t make him a speaker for the campaign. Using your logic, Rick Tyler who was fired just like Stone is still part of the Cruz Camp since he still supports Cruz.

That’s absurd.

We will agree to disagree. Sessions is the gold standard on immigration and trade. His endorsement will affect the vote of many conservatives. It is a devastating blow to Cruz who liked to cite Sessions when talking about the Cruz role in the Gang of 8 bill. You don't have the conservative lion endorsing your opponent without consequence, Cruz still does not have a single senator endorsing him.

Cruz merely said that Rubio is preferable to Trump. Duh. Of course Rubio is preferable. Rubio is many not-so-good things, but he isn’t a narcissistic, pompous, authoritarian-minded, thin-skinned braggart, completely lacking the temperament to serve as President.

You will find very few here on FR that support Rubio over Trump. Rubio lied to his constituents when he said he would never support amnesty. He got to Washington and teamed up with Schumer, Durbin, Bennett, Menendez, McCain, Flake, and Graham to propose a bill that would have provided amnesty to 12 to 20 million illegal aliens, tripled legal permanent immigration to 33 million over a decade and doubled the guest worker program to 1.4 million annually. All at a time when we have the lowest labor participation rates in 38 years. Immigrants take jobs from Americans and depress wages. The Gang of 8 bill would have destroyed the country and made the Dems the permanent majority party.

Rubio prevented any amendments to the bill. His treatment of Chris Crane, head of the ICE union of over 7,000 agents, was despicable. Crane's union issued an unprecedented letter of no-confidence in the Obama appointed head of ICE for preventing ICE agents from carrying out their sworn duties. Rubio would not even meet with him and has demeaned him just a few days ago.

So you can support the GOPe Rubio, but so what, Rubio is going to get beat. On March 15 Rubio will lose his home state of FL to Trump. How anyone can support Rubio after what he did is beyond me. Rubio is also very bad on trade issues. He is an empty suit with no real accomplishments save feeding at the public trough his entire working life. We have a first term senator in the WH, we don't need another without any executive experience.

Trump knows how to negotiate but while many trust him to negotiate on our behalf, I do not. I see him giving in to the dems and calling it a victory. ESP sup ct nominations.

I don’t see Agador Spartacus winning 8 states, so they will have to change the rules.

D. Trump may have many faults, but racism and being afraid are not among them. This is absurd and ridiculous. These accusation reflect poorly on the credibility of the accusers and reveals individuals who cannot be trusted.

I agree. Robot Rubio reminds me of a sleazy conman. He has used the race card even though he is white, has accomplished zero, and has personal connections to a drug dealer. He is not fit to be president for his role in the Gang of 8 and revelations in NYT. He is not even a nbc.

His inappropriate behavior at the last debate; false accusations and childish and paranoid comments that sound as if made by somebody with mental issues; weird smirking; and physical characteristics such as sweating and raid speech make me wonder if he is taking drugs.

Turns out the BOMBSHELL is from a paid Trump promoter, Roger Stone. He is still with the P.T. Trump campaign.

Yep, you just gotta know Stone is privy to “insider” stuff from Rubio and Cruz camps. Trump’s also got this nice bridge in New York to sell you.

Funny to watch the trumpies listen to their own echo thinking “its from above”.

If this is true (a big if), which campaign would leak it?

Rubio’s or Cruz’s?

Bullies are not above projection. A routine dem ploy, point fingers at everyone else while the whole time its them pulling the stuff they accuse other of doing.

I DO NOT support Rubio, never have, never will. Neither will I support Trump. Never have, never will.

Supporters of either of these people are out of place on a conservative forum site, even if they have found a voice here.

Get even for what? Did you really not know that Carson’s campaign guy, Armstrong Williams is the one that told the “stop campaigning after Iowa and going home for a while” story to CNN? Which is all that was re-tweeted.
If Cruz was guilty of anything in that Mountain from Molehill, it was he was too generous in offering Ben an apology.
