The divide between Freeper's in the Trump vs. Cruz battle is more heated than I recall any other divide of Freerepublic. Just about every thread immediately devolves to a nasty fight that carries from one thread to another.
I think we need to be careful with each other because both camps need each other after the primary. Can we just agree to disagree and move on? We have more in common with each other than not.
When I post something about a non-primary topic some person jumps in and makes it primary related. I bet if I posted that the sky is blue I would be harassed.

That really complicates the issue. A local talk show host said many years ago that it's no longer just a matter of right versus left but inside versus outside. That struck me at the time and still resonates.
If so, then the mods need to do s better job of policing.

I sincerely believe the “Cruz-Trump Cage Match” has been deliberately fueled by trolls on FR and plants within both camps like media pundits, lobbying groups etc.
Their end game is a nasty fight that drives voters to Rubio, the GOPe anointed candidate.
I stand as clear as I can of the fighting.
I simply state I support Cruz, but don’t hate Trump and could support him under the right circumstances.

I just wonder how bad it will be if we go to a brokered convention. That means we will have to deal with this for a cery, very long time.
There are also some FReepers I have lost a great deal of respect for, not solely because of their choice of candidate, but the way they choose to support them.
