It may sound crazy now but it's very possible Trump will pick Cruz as VP [vanity]

Trump will not pick Cruz, he will pick someone much more liberal astute and experienced.

There, fixed it.

I wouldn’t doubt it. Reagan and Bush hated each other.

Exactly!

Meh, really?
Remember Trump was going to go all the way to prove Obozo was not a NBC or whatever....I think he likes to throw the “I’ll sue” threat around a lot

“how does Trump walk back his public statements that Cruz is ineligible?”

Guess we’ll see...

Honestly? Probably not. I see Trump going with Rubio or Kasich or even Christie before going with Cruz. He'll think he needs to make nice to the establishment and certainly Rubio would jump at the chance. Cruz and he would never get along and wouldn't be able to work together.

Issuing empty threats isn't going to help him in the campaign.

And, are you speaking for yourself, or are you representing Cruz or Trump?

I am speaking for myself as a Cruz supporter and someone who wants him to be president, if not this election cycle then the next one. And I see nothing to be gained by being part of a Trump cabinet. It's a dead end where the presidency is concerned. And being vice-president isn't an improvement. Far better to remain in the Senate or perhaps run for governor of Texas if that opportunity comes up.

I would say Cruz is a lock next time around. Assuming he's not in the White House then.

If we don’t win this cycle, the U.S. will dissolve.

If we elect just another moderate then all we're doing is delaying the inevitable.

My opinion of Cruz would drop greatly if he accepted.

The only reason you won’t discuss this is because you know Cruz is losing and you are bitter. You are taking it out on me, but the one you need to be pissed about is Cruz and his disaster of a campaign. Oh well your loss. No skin off my back if you don’t talk to me. I care about America then whether you approve of me or not. It’s like I am supposed to care about some yo-yo on an anonymous website. You are out of your mind if you think I would pick you over America.

No. It is not inevitable that the U.S. dissolves. You are aware there is a petition for a convention of the states in circulation? There are many states that will consider their options if the next President packs the Supreme Court with communists and our Bill of Rights is gone.
