Detroit Police Sergeant Under Investigation After Comparing Beyonce’s Super Bowl Performance To KKK
DETROIT (WWJ) – A Detroit police sergeant who allegedly criticized Beyonce’s Super Bowl halftime show by posting a reference to the Ku Klux Klan is being investigated.
The sergeant, who was unnamed but is reportedly a 17-year veteran of the department, apparently didn’t like the halftime performance — particularly Beyonce’s dancers, who were sporting afros, berets and dressed in an all-black style similar to the Black Panther party. At one point in the performance, the dancers raised their fists to the sky and made a formation on the field in the shape of an X that, according to the sergeant, was attributed to black activist Malcolm X.

Well, the Black Panters really are the mirror image (color wise) of the KKK.

“under investigation” says it all. Police are being used to enforce speech codes. You can now be arrested for non-PC words.

The message being what? That blacks are so incapable of understanding context that they will simply see a picture of the KKK and be terrified or emotionally scarred?
i like this guy. I believe he told citizens to arm themselves because the police won’t get there in time to stop the criminals.

Yep. Much easier to attack and silence those who are bound by laws and conscience, than to attack those who have the power of the social elite (and honor neither law nor conscience)...
...much like it’s easier to attack Christians who don’t terrorize, than to attack ISIS devotees who do terrorize. It used to be called “cowardice”; I’m not sure what culture calls it now.
Good thing he didn’t say Beyonce is way too chunky to be parading around in a KKK hooker costume.
One thing I did notice was ALL of her backup dancers were black. Not a peep from anyone. Imagine if a white performer used 40-50 backup dancers and all of them were white. The double standard is just amazing.

What’s to investigate? Either he said it, or he didn’t. In either case, it’s hyperbole, and it’s free speech, so who cares?
Is taxpayer money being spent to silence an opinion, or is this media hype to an off-the-cuff statement by a police chief that “we’re looking into the matter”?

Freedom of speech used to be cherished in this country but now it is hated by liberals because it is the truth.
