Authorities are praising a woman's quick thinking after she was attacked by an intruder.
The 52-year-old woman, named Carol, told police that a man was waiting for her in her garage when she got home on Tuesday.
"I said, 'What's going on? What do you need? What are you doing here?' He says, 'I have a gun, I want your purse and I mean it, I will shoot," Carol told WXIN.
Carol says she told that man that he could have her purse, but then he grabbed her and pinned her against a toolbox.
'So I grabbed a staple gun and smacked him on the side of the head. He went down to his knees,' Carol said. 'I loaded up with two more [staple guns] in my other hand and he started charging at me again and I said, 'I will crush your skull in if you touch me again."
At that point, she says the attacker left.
In before the liberals want to ban (Staple) Guns as an attack weapon also.
Liberals don’t want the normal people to be able to defend themselves. They want the “oppressed” underclass to waltz right in and take what is “rightfully” theirs.
What should happen is that male neighbors should find the attacker and break his face.
I hate it that they label this woman ‘grandma’ when she’s only 52.
LOL. A good example of quick thinking by a lady who was aware of her surroundings. There are almost always “weapons” available....lamps,chairs, high heel shoes, hammers, plates, vases, anything really can be used effectively.
Save that quote for the next young damsel that Uncle Joe Biden violates! Very intimidating and effective!
Yes. Marine boot camp taught me 2 lessons:
1) Always fight with a weapon.
2) There is always a weapon.
Wondering if she actually tag him with a couple of staples in the skull?
Thanks, the feel good post of the day.
O-hole will be on TV today and will issue a presidential order to ban staple guns.
Thank you for your service . Marines are the Best of the Best! Had the honor of visiting Belleau Wood and drinking from the Bulldog Fountain last year. My son is a 20 yr. Marine, retired.
My father taught me to always be aware of my surroundings when he taught me to hunt. It is not a conscious thing, but as natural as breathing. I wish women today were taught to be resourceful instead of being taught what color of fingernail polish is best...if you get my meaning. You are absolutely correct inasmuch as You are always within reach of a weapon. Use it!
Air Force boot camp taught me 2 lessons:
1) Your boots can always use more polish.
2) If you go for seconds on the Steamship Round, you better finish it all.
Reminds me of the old movie Salt and Pepper (1968) in which Sammy Davis Jr nails a bad guy with a fully automatic nail gun.
“I hate it that they label this woman ‘grandma’ when she’s only 52”
Makes a snazzier headline (I assume she actually IS a grandmother).
I remember the little old Italian lady in Long Island who stopped a home invader by grabbing him by the air and throwing him down the stars. She was defending her daughter. Her daughter was about 60 and she was about 90!
They quoted a cop who said: don’t mess with Italians’ kids - no matter what!
Exactly! It conjures up images of Granny in The Beverly Hillbilliies, waving her shotgun around at some “critter” that one day came-a calling for Ellie May.
Yeah, really.
I’m 2 years older than she is and I ain’t nobody’s “grandma”.
:D
My dad was a prison guard and taught me the same thing.
The “creativity” found inside those walls is stunning.
People always ask why I have a spike buck antler on my key chain.
I ask why don’t they?
Automatic Staple Gun
Assault Staple Gun
Why would anyone ever need an Assault Staple Gun?
I have an air powered finish nailer.
It works great.
