Just trying to get a feel on what conservatives would consider as Cruz crossing the line in a match up during the general election with Hillary. Keep in mind past history of the Clinton family of course and how fair they play.
Nothing. Zilch. Zip.
We need somebody on our side who doesn’t play be Queensberry rules because the other side sure doesn’t.
To me, that leaves two options: Cruz and Trump.
Hey Cruzers and Trumpsters (I’ve been both, nominally more Trumpster right now), save your vitriol for the REAL enemy, PLEASE!!!
By*
Shorter of a felony nothing
Trump is the only one the Wicked -itch is afraid of. Trump would fight fire with more fire.
THIS!!!!!
Unfortunately, with the Dems/Libs/Progs & especially the Clinton Crime Family, it boils down to “win ugly or lose graciously”. In the Clinton’s case, telling the truth is pretty darn damaging ... the Repub candidates just need to take off the gloves and punch hard - tell the truth, not dance all around it and let Hilly obfuscate and lie.
One example that causes me to do a slow burn (not ‘Bern’ ha ha) is when Hilly is asked about her emails. She generally starts up with how she testified 11 hours before the Benghazi committee and there was no “there there”. Well, the Benghazi committee was NOT about her email situation, it was about the 4 people who died, lack of security, leaving them to die, etc. She repeatedly brings up her testimony as taking her off the hook and proving there was nothing found regarding the emails. She needs to be called out and pinned down on this .... but I will concede, it’s pretty hard to pin down someone as slippery as eel snot.
Yes, we don’t need to be polite this time out. We are going to have to get down in the gutter with them and slug, slash, and trash them to the degree that they are willing to back down.
Killery’s laundry list of felonies is longer than my arm in a 10 font, single spaced.
As you say..fight fire, with more fire.
Nothing in her background is off limits. Younger generations need to be informed about her past. Trump showed how to do it when she brought up the subject of women. Trump lambasted her over her sexual predator husband.
She could not stand toe to toe on that.
That’s just for starters.
Challenge her to a duel in Ft. Marcy Park
No quarter! This applies to any Republican nominee. That is why Willard failed, he didn’t go for the jugular.
“I don’t remember”, “ I can’t recall”, “I wasn’t informed” “Not that I know of”, “Can’t say that I did.” “No one told me.” “The right wing conspiracy is to blame.” “I was set up by the Republican right.” “I’m not to blame.” “The Republican Leadership caused all the problems.” etc.etc.etc.. Why would anyone, who doesn’t remember, is not informed, doesn’t understand the meaning of security, even consider themselves as qualified to lead a nation? My personal favorite is Hillary’s use of the “N” word when she was the 1st lady of Arkansas. I personally got it by hearsay, but I would considerate it true because of who told me. That was in 92’, I didn’t take names, but if Trump wanted to know where to look?
Or not. Gotta think that one over.
My limit is the same as Hillary’s tricks she’s played on us. There is no possible way Ted can exceed that numbed.
Think Donald Segretti and the “RF.”
Just don’t get caught, this time.

All is fair in love, war and politics.
Cruz has spoken.
NY SHOCK: Ted Cruz takes Bill Clinton off the table “He’s off limits” in his campaign

New Years Day 2016
Ted Cruz issued a statement to reporters and fans, claiming that former President Bill Clinton, the spouse of Hillary Clinton (Democratic Front Runner and likely nominee) is completely “off limits.”
Cruz said he is trying to run an ethical campaign, but voters are not pleased that Cruz will not bring up the sordid past of the disgraced ex President who is facing a new round of sexual scandals.
Dallas News, a popular forum for politics in Texas reports:
Ted Cruz says he won’t use former President Bill Clinton’s political liabilities against Democratic presidential contender and former First Lady Hillary Clinton.
“I am not interested in getting into personal attacks and innuendo,” he said Tuesday at a news conference in Cisco. “Hillary Clinton’s biggest liability is that her policies are a disaster.”
New York businessman Donald Trump, the frontrunner in the Republican race for president, has used Twitter to black Bill Clinton as abusive to women.
“If Hillary thinks she can unleash her husband, with his terrible record of women abuse, while playing the women’s card on me, she’s wrong!” Mr. Trump said Monday via Twitter.
Cruz says he won’t engage in such attacks.
Instead, he outlined how he would contrast himself with Clinton, should he get the Republican nomination for president.
“Because of the Obama/Clinton economic policies, millions of Americans are hurting,” he said. “We have the lowest percentage of Americans working since 1977.”
He added that “the Obama/Clinton foreign policy is terrible because of the strengthening of Iran and the rise of the Islamic State.
“That is a record that is substantially indefensible,” he said.
Drawing a mustache on Hillary’s grandchild. ;-)
You are right as can be. And there is a huge supply of ammo to use against them, especially against Hitlery. The ammo is there for the picking.
Cruz is inherently limited by his own Christian ethical system. This is why, per Alinsky, the non-stop attack on him is to paint him as a liar. Attack a person on their strengths, not their weaknesses. This works for Alinsyites because they do not have to be truthful. So you take an honest person and defame them into the ground on the one thing that gives them strength with their constituency. That’s why the let gets away with this.
If we were to reverse this and apply it to Hillary, we would have real trouble. What is her greatest strength? She fulfills a mythology in the leftist psyche, the mark of real progress, throwing off the evil conservative patriarchy by being the first woman president. She has no need to protect her reputation for being honest or wise or anything else pertaining to character. She only needs to continue to be a woman and a liberal and the consummate victim seeking justice for the class she represents.
I’m not sure how one fights that kind of symbol. Detach the person from the symbol? Discredit what the symbol represents? If we are bound to be truthful, we have to work within that parameter. We have to persuade people that leftist utopianism and the progressive policy that supports it will disappoint every time it is tried. Younger people can be held captive to false idealism, but us older folks tend to be more pragmatic. That’s where I think her (and Bernie’s) weak underbelly is.
Now I don’t know what the ultimate strategy would look like. But I think we have to be realistic. We become them if we adopt Alinsky. Heads they win, tails we lose. We have to set different terms, terms in which character and truth still matter.
Peace,
SR
