Ted Cruz is proof that evangelicals will swarm to the candidate that says moderately correct religious stuff and completely ignore the various ways in which the candidate will either expand the state or otherwise keep the status quo. Rhetoric is more important to the conservative Christian base than anything, and said rhetoric is the very thing that blinds them to the statist trends of the GOP.
Where is the explanation you cite ?
so, you can count to 2?
now count the rest of the candidates
take off your shoes
thanks for proving my point
There are exceptions, diplomats and such, but Ted Cruz does not fall into such a category. he was born into allegiance to Canada. he was born under the jurisdiction of Canada. His parents were similarly in allegiance to Canada and under Canadian jurisdiction.
That was your original premise. I agreed that some probably do but it was your contention and that was the only reason I said anything about it.
We, as an American electorate aught to be able to synch ourselves WITH him and expect a more Christianized electorate .... enough to win a nation ... and I don't see it happening
I'm a Buddhist so that isn't something I care about other than the politician in question isn't joining with the leftists in bashing Christianity. What I am interested in are political policies and principles that align with mine not any part of the man's personal life.
You completely ignored my point again. You're criticizing Christians for choosing their political loyalty based solely on rhetoric that plays to their faith. Something you assume about them. Yet you admit to choosing one solely on empty tough guy rhetoric. One with no discernible guiding principles behind his "bar napkin" policy positions. As you put it it's his ego you trust.
"Trump is a bull in a china closet and that's what I want"
IOWs 100% emotionally charged rhetoric beats the guy who has a history of actual policy positions and also professes his faith which might affect some of the voters who share his faith.

The operative word in the bolded part being “some.” Which I just repeated in my last post.
The entirety of that quote confirms exactly what I just said in my last post to you so your point is?
There is more and you would know it if you were honest and did a little research.
I take, by your response, that you don’t think the vote for TPA and the Corker bill are important.
I do think they are important and do not support a globalist.
I posted that to show YOU were the one that opened the subject up of Cruz and his Christian influence
All I've done is respond to your lead
I posted your original reply and you refuse to see what you're doing
Repeat after me ...
OOOHHHHHMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM
I am a veteran my grandsons father was KIA,in Iraq. So back off!! Now!! My only son is active duty.
Here’s a link:
Bless your heart I will not back off anyone not appreciative of any money given to vets. You are unhinged to threaten me. Thank you for the service of your family. Now get help!
I think you are playing gottcha, and that you think 2 = 15
you have already failed by claiming these two, the TPPA vote was not the final vote and Cruz explained why on Mark Levin why he voted for the original version/bill, and why he voted against he second time, McConnel lied to him
I forgot about details on the corker bill
but if you think 2 points in your eyes defeats an entire campaign of lies and smears by trump and rubio, you have a twisted sense of morals

On his radio program today, Rush Limbaugh dropped a bombshell report that the rumors of Ben Carson dropping out on Monday were actively encouraged by the Rubio campaign.

Ted Cruz is proof that evangelicals will swarm to the candidate that says moderately correct religious stuff
Does that sound familiar at all? lol

No .. it doesn’t ... cite the reference, please ?
You don't know where that came from? You're dead serious aren't you?
yes

Jimmy Carter was a wonderful Christian Man who spoke frequently of his Faith. Gee, that worked out great now didn’t it?
I don’t pick President’s based on their Religious devotion.
I don’t recall Ronaldus Reaganus walking into Church every Sunday carrying a big dog eared Bible like Clinton did.
Obama has been Married only once and from what we know he has been faithful to his Wife the entire time. I still hate him more that I ever hated Bill Clinton the serial Cheater.
As for me, my Faith is my business and I hold the same standard for everyone else. If this is an important topic on FR, so be it. I’ve got bigger Fish to fry.
I am a Cruz Supporter with Trump as my second choice. That being said, I was a bit uncomfortable hearing Cruz using Glory to God because he won the Caucus in Iowa.
It reminded me of a Boxer beating the crap out of his Opponent and then thanking the Lord for the Win when being interviewed after the Fight while the guy he just knocked out is bleeding on the Canvas...
I guess it’s just me, carry on.
You’re not alone
