Trump Campaign Statement On Fox News Debate
Trump ^ | 1/26/16

Posted on 01/26/2016 6:33:44 PM PST by sushiman

He will not be participating in the FOX News debate and will instead host an event in Iowa to raise money for the Veterans and Wounded Warriors, who have been treated so horribly by our all talk, no action politicians. Like running for office as an extremely successful person, this takes guts and it is the kind mentality our country needs in order to Make America Great Again.

>> It only proves that the Donald is thin skinned and immature <<

And also, it proves once again that every bully is at heart a coward.

>> He is one of the very few brave souls to stand up to PC and the media <<

Yeah, sure, he’s so “brave” that he’s afraid to face a woman who’s about 30 years his junior.

And then, to make himself look worse, he runs to hide behind a veterans organization.

Maybe Don should just copy Snowden and ask his idol, Vladimir, to give him refuge in Moscow.

It's not really about Megyn. Well, it is... but Trump set up a tiny poll asking his followers on Twitter if he should do the debate or not. I think he had 37,000 votes, 52% yes 48% no. It was going to be open all night I think... anyway, Fox issued this as a formal statement when they heard about it, and it was the straw that broke the camel's back: FOX News mocks Trump with this Press Release:

“We learned from a secret back channel that the Ayatollah and Putin both intend to treat Donald Trump unfairly when they meet with him if he becomes president,” Fox News said in the statement, adding this gem: “A nefarious source tells us that Trump has his own secret plan to replace the Cabinet with his Twitter followers to see if he should even go to those meetings.”

Fox News’ sarcastic response to Trump was totally inappropriate. Kudos to Trump for refusing to kowtow to FN who pushes M Kelly as more of a story than Trump and the other candidates. At the first debate she came roaring out of the dressing room strutting down the runway like a super model empress; she is not the story! I have always liked MK but the story is not about her as she and FN seem to think. I will vote for Trump if he is the nominee-is he perfect- hell no. After 8 years of pinko commie socialism race baiting and surrender to our enemies and intentional harm to our country-anybody but Hillary.

Boy I’m sure glad we’re not going to have another egotist running for president this year.

After my father died, we tried to donate around $10,000 worth of equipment to Wounded Warriors. They wanted cash, instead. I’m not real impressed with this group.

After every debate during presidential cycles, Republicans and conservatives come on FR and say, rightfully, "WHY does the Republican leadership allow our candidates to participate in these debates moderated by liberals and haters whose questions are totally designed in prejudice and bias to GET the Republican? Why do we do it every year? The Republicans need to refuse to do it with these main stream media/Government controlled media asking the questions with their extreme leftist/Democrat party bias."

EVERY debate season preceding every presidential election. Why doesn't the GOP chairman stop this, why AGREE to it, why not DEMAND to be treated fairly? Why do we need "moderators" asking questions anyway?

NOW we finally have a candidate with the cajones, the only one in this bunch, only one in living memory, to refuse to participate unless the debate host network removes the HIGHLY PARTISAN, unqualified, proven Trump hater, transparently seeking to curry favor with her left wing friends and colleagues.

And NOW the Cruzers on FR who weren't even around for all these previous debates in history, knew or cared nothing about politics or were simply Democrats---NOW these people, to support their Establishment candidate, call Trump a COWARD, he's too afraid to face Megyn Kelly. Even Ted Goldman Sachs Cruz is saying it. That's pitiful, because THIS is EXACTLY what conservatives and republicans have wanted for years and years: to NOT let the host network get away with using moderators who are leftists intent upon embarrassing and trying to ruin our candidates, in this case Trump.

So Trump is THE one to set the precedent, to DO what everyone before just TALKED about, and the idiots who should be over on Commitment2Establishment so childishly say, Trump is afraid of Megyn Kelly! LOL!!!!!!!!!!

PS---Trump kicked ass in SIX DEBATES and no one laid a glove on him, and now the losers want another shot at the heavy weight champion. But they aren't in his class. So no rematch.

Why should he be scared of silly Kelly? Calm down. You might not like D. Trump, that’s okay, but to say he is afraid of Kelly is beyond absurd. Face reality.

First of all I am not his sucker. You know nothing of me or who I am going to vote for. You are unable to articulate any arguments, thus you resort to crude insults.

You can dislike D. Trump. I have no problem with that. But there is no need for you get hysterical over him. To say he is afraid of silly Kelly is comical and delusional. There are a number of things I can criticize Trump about but afraid of Kelly is not one of them. Where did you come up with this nonsense? Been hitting the bottle?

What a stupid and immature stunt! It only proves that the Donald is thin skinned and immature. I hope it backfires on him and we can watch and listen to candidates who are seriously running for the office.

Really. What do you think of this?

I’ve read other places that the folks at Wounded Warriors take most of the money and very little gets to the wounded warriors.
