And what if you overcome the establishment and end up with the single payer healthcare system Trump said he liked in 1999 and again in 2015? Will you have won?

Exactly. The reason I am supporting Trump is because I look a hard informed look at all the candidates and decided that not one of them would be able to defeat the democrat machine. The communists are poised to take over and it’s going to take something massive to stop them. The only person out there who might be able to stop it is D. Trump. I don’t care if he has warts, I don’t care that he is a liberal, I want our country fixed. I believe Trump has become as worried as the rest of the country. He sees the problem and for his own sake and the sake of his business, he is determined to fix it. I feel like the Lord is giving us one last chance to pull out of the tailspin. We better take that chance.

Palin, Cruz, and Trump have conspired to take over from the corrupt Gope
And Obama and his cleptocrats.

They all three are playing their parts to finish the coup de tat.

Works for me.

I refuse to do the work of the kingmaker’s minions and chew apart the brave people who have gone up against the malicious bastards who have put us 19 trillion in debt while they just get richer.

Sarah knows what she’s risking and yet she has the courage and the fire in the belly to try again to fix this country.

I just can’t imagine bona fide republicans bashing Sarah Palin! I don’t know what you are but of one thing I am certain, you are not one of us. Most of us like Trump and Cruz but prefer one to the other, or (in my case) have serious concerns about Cruz’ constitutional eligibility, but nonetheless admire Senator Cruz very much. He is young man and has a great part to play in the restoration of our country. But you, libbylu, I don’t sure don’t know what you are but you sure are muddle-headed.

We are Cruz fans because Cruz is a conservative. To elect Trump is like electing McCain and calling him conservative. Trump is for single payer health care like Bernie. He just changed his mind about abortion and sodomy. If your 60 and just figured out you don't want to kill children, I don't know. He's a Christian that just figured out God thinks sodomy is bad? Abortion and sodomy won't even be on his radar. Is it the wall? Cruz will build a wall, he has said so for years now in Texas.

You guys will wake up with Trump thinking you really have done it now, and he will be just like any other weak kneed Rockefeller Republican. Not different enough from a Dem to even tell the difference.

Palin was either bought or she has made a terrible mistake. I can't even believe a Christian would fall for someone that says "Two Corinthians", and believes he has ever even been in a church.

Clueless!!!

We only get to do this every 4 years and we can't wait another 4 years to start to fix this. Just think of the SCOTUS judges Cruz would nominate instead of Ginzberg look a likes. If we get just one more liberal judge, America is finished.

America was great only because of its values. And one of those values was never to be great.

Yes, Trump has some of those old values, but he lacks many others - as Cruz pointed out in Trump’s own description of his NY values.

America will never be great again without a recovery of its original values - which are 100% in opposition to Obama’s values.

Mr. L explains Palin’s endorsement of Trump.

She took leave of her brains?
No endorsement from anybody can transform a lifelong, hardcore liberal like Trump into a conservative. I am wondering what Trump used to bribe Sarah Palin to sell out her principles.

I’ll vote for Trump ok, but hopefully he’ll come to his senses on some things, like.......

He doesn’t blame the Mexican people, he blames the weakness of American leaders and Mexican politicians.

He doesn’t blame the Chinese people, but the American leaders, and the Chinese politicians.

He does blame Ford executives, who happen to be American people, and not the Mexican politicians, because his solution to corporate exodus is to punish those “American people”at Ford.

A 35% tariff on imported American manufacturing abroad would work, of course, but this is the liberal way of doing things-that is, to use federal government power to coerce, always rife with unintended consequences.

The way to do this is to remove the obstacles that cause the exodus. Trump’s tax plan, which includes a corporate tax rate reduction, actually works toward this end in a great way. Removing other obstacles, such as labor laws that still favor unions, also works toward this end. And Obamacare, federal overreach by OSHA, EPA, Dodd Frank, Sarbanes Oxley, the list goes on.

Cheap labor is perhaps the least among reasons to move a plant outside the borders, but Trump in Ford’s case wants to impugn the decision makers instead of the American politicians.

It is herin clear that Donald Trump has liberal sensibilities. Again, I’ll vote for him because he truly does want to make America great again, but she’ll be greater if we just remove government interference in private sector decision making, instead of increasing it with a tariff. Hopefully he will hire people to advise him, like Sarah Palin, because she, like many others, will “get it” on this issue and others.

Just my two cents.

Nothing more recent than 15 years ago? Listen to what he is saying now.

Watch a person's actions to know who they are. Maybe you haven't heard, but people tend to say just about anything to get elected. Haven't you learned this lesson yet from the last few years alone?

Trump's ego is on the line, and he is out to prove that he is the best deal-maker ever. This does not always entail doing what is best for limited-government principles. He's almost surely better than just about every other available option except Cruz, but it will be important to keep in mind if he does get elected. He will bring many unfortunate unintended consequences that his biggest cheerleaders here do not seem to care about at all.

Didn't you understand that a single payer universal healthcare system was a threat to personal liberty in 1999? I did. Trump apparently didn't. Who cares if it was 15 years ago.

I doubt if fifteen years ago he even gave the issue much thought. He could easily afford any and all healthcare he needed and desired. I have not heard from any of his employees who say he shafted them on company healthcare, either. If there were some, you bet it would have been front page or lead story, long ago.
