The workplace is increasingly politicized.

People turn to movies for suspension of disbelieve in a NON-political setting —this way they can re-charge before returning to their politicized workplaces.

But more and more, movies are politicized.

This is also true of football and other sports.

The more political they are the less the reason to turn to them.

Somehow I stumbled across “Carbanaro Effect” last night on TV, watched a few 30 minute episodes. The guy is a magician who dupes unsuspecting people in set up scenarios. The vast majority of the people he duped were black.

Watching the show, you think it’s pretty good, but stepping back and looking at the big picture, a lot of people think it racist.
