Whatâs the most powerful weapon in the sci-fi universe? How does a lightsaber in Star Wars compare to the energy sword of Halo? What about a Death Star vs Dr. Whoâs reality bomb? And how do they match up with a real life nuclear bomb? Considering the AT-AT and Tripod from "World of the Wars" have comparable energy output how about letting them duke it out. Sort of messed up Han Solo's blaster and a light saber are multiple times more powerful than an AT-AT.

Amateur hour compared to the new weapon in the latest movie.
The Death Star had to be relatively close to blow up a planet.
The new version — constructed in a planet — can blow up a planet from light years away.

Still, a light saber is only a personal defense weapon
with a limited range. Hardly qualifies as an equal to say
a death star.
How many death stars on the head of a pin?

If someone had a transporter like in Stars Trek,
what world leader, or General, or army could survive.
Just transport whomever you need to into oblivion.
And you win every battle, everytime, without losing a soul.

The new death star planet in the new Star Wars. Apparently this weapon can fire from a remote planet and it has so much power, it creates its on warp field that the blast travels though and destroys a planet thousands of light years away.
The only problem is a couple of saboteurs can blow the whole thing up
