Trump on Buying Politicians: "When I Call They Kiss My Ass"(VIDEO)
Washington Examiner ^ | 1/10/2016 | Byron York

CLEAR LAKE, Iowa - Donald Trump, the billionaire who until now hasn't had to spend much of his own money to run for president, has made the influence of money in politics a theme of his campaign. He has suggested his Republican rivals are "puppets" for seeking the support of GOP donors like the Koch brothers. And he has defended his own contributions to both Republican and Democratic politicians as the cost of doing business in a world in which officeholders can be bought and paid for.

Here in Iowa Saturday, Trump made his most blunt condemnation yet of what he says is the corrupting influence of money in politics. As a businessman, Trump explained, "I've got to give to them, because when I want something, I get it. When I call, they kiss my ass." And that includes, he said, the Republicans who are running against Trump in the GOP presidential race.

"These politicians, they're so bad," Trump told a full house at the historic Surf Ballroom in Clear Lake:

You know, it's interesting. I was looking at the ones I'm running against. I've contributed to most of them - can you believe it? I've contributed to most of them. And one of them said, No, I don't think you've contributed to me. They found out I did. I contribute to everybody. I've given to Democrats. I've given to Hillary. I've given to everybody, because that was my job. I've got to give to them. because when I want something I get it. When I call, they kiss my ass. It's true. They kiss my ass. It's true.

Cruz has proven he is only beholden to the voters of Texas. If he becomes President, he represents all of us. The only interests Trump has ever looked out for are his own.

No wonder everything the dems touch is so screwed up.

And the Tea Party "conservatives" we sent to DC on the promise to stop this sh1t worked out so well, didn't it?

People are tired of being screwed by the political elitist class, it's why Trump has struck such a cord with the American people.

I can not support Cruz because he, as all other politicians, owe their donors something in exchange for their money, Cruz will have to pay back sooner or later.

Cruz has more small donors than anybody. They are patriots.

Cruz's big donors, as controled by the very patriotic David Barton super PAC, are patriots too.

That's the truth. You simply can't hide from that fact.

Your "facts" are wrong.

He brings None to little cross over voters.

The polls show Cruz doing better than Trump against Hillary.

He’s right of course but also elective office wasn’t meant to be only a privilege of the rich.

Club for Growth is the Cheap Labor Express. Same for Goldman and Berkshire. (Warren Buffet is definitely open border.)

So, I guess the question is: Who is worse, the buyer or the one who is bought.

It is the servant who takes the money!

Trump wants a lot of what the political class wants.

A legalization amnesty. Maybe a citizenship amnesty later. Affirmative action. Big Government Bank and Auto Bailouts. Obama's Stimulus. Universal Healthcare.

I could go on.

“The buyer is the worse of two. Morally speaking, the buyer has the clearest choice to do the right thing and chooses not to.”

Disagree.

It isn’t buying. It is contributing legally to a campaign. It is how the system works.

To get things done, the way the system is constructed, requires contribution. I hate it, but recognize the reality of what exists.

The one buying does so because he CAN. It advances their agenda, whatever that is.

The one selling does so because they feel they HAVE TO. It advances their career at a cost to their oath and integrity.

Because they donated to a Super Pac doesn’t have anything to do with Cruz. Anyone that wants to can donate to a Super Pac and a candidate has no contact with Super Pacs.

“Cruz has proven he is only beholden to the voters of Texas. If he becomes President, he represents all of us.”

His billionaire?
His super pac?

And as long as we’re talking, tell me why he isn’t leading in his state of Texas?

“Over 600,000. We’re called conservatives.”

HEY, where’s my kiss?! These Trumpdrones just won’t stop will they.

Indeed....just like the borrower is the slave to the lender.

Actually, the only difference between Jesse Ventura and Trump is one has a bigger bank account. If Reagan were still here, he’d be supporting Ted Cruz.

Trump buys politicians, on the other hand Cruz is for sale, actually Cruz has been bought by the anti-American globalists. Trump, pro American patriot, Cruz owned by the anti-American Globalists. Easy choice for me, Go Trump!
