Who are the “Marina” that are seen with the cartel prisoners?

Are they somehow not corrupt? It would be nice if Mexico has at least one organization that wasn’t dirty.

So he tripped in custody. Accidents happen. Something hit him in the head, he stumbled and fell. Act of God.

That’s exactly the point - there was still a ton of work to be done. And at the severe risk of getting off topic, we effectively signed up for that job when engaging in Iraq in the first place. Large military missions have never been about “get in and get out”... we rebuilt Europe; we rehabbed Japan. Those things are necessary to avoid...well, exactly what has happened in Iraq.

It seems Shorty was a little envious of the frequent vacations the Muslim-in-Chief has taken, and opted for another pleasant breather. Followed, of course, by a return to business in about three months. Nothing like taxpayer funded vacations.

Exactly. Unfortunately, Mexico is a no-death penalty country, which is one of the reasons they won’t extradite really horrible criminals caught in Mexico back to the US for trial. It’s a UN thing, normal people wouldn’t understand.

Meanwhile, the average Mexican would be happy to string him up (maybe along with affluenza boy!) in the nearest plaza. An ethical woman mayor in Mexico was killed last week by the drug gangs the day she was sworn in. Mexicans hate this, but even when the police bring these creeps in, there’s no real punishment and most of them will eventually be pardoned...or will buy or threaten their way out. Kind of like the US these days...

That’s one of the reasons that LE is so bad in Mexico. They’re scared , bcause they’re not protected by the courts or the penal system and their names and the school or work routes of their kids and spouses go out in the gang circuits immediately.

Time for Obama to claim the credit for the capture.

“We have a new escape-proof cell waiting for him, and this time he won’t escape. He’ll be transferred to the new cell once the interior decorators are finished, the home theater is finished getting wired and the wait staff, bartenders, chefs, massage team and other staff are hired and properly trained.”

How any country with a crime problem like they have can NOT have a death penalty is beyond comprehension .

In Mexico there should be a gallows in every town . Literally . They would get plenty of use .

The problem with NOT have a vigorous death penalty is that it allows truly the truly wicked and vicious and murderous and merciless to build up their genes in any society . Instead their genes need to be completely expunged from society and the only way to do that is to kill um .

Just heard some consultant on TV who said the Mexican version of a maximum security prison is that they lock the front door.

In Mexico, it is all about the money called “Mordida”. There is very little loyalty or honor in our neighbor to the South. If you pay — you receive from this most corrupt government. The whole place is a cesspool of bribes and pay offs. That is how he got out and that is why they took him back into custody. BUILD THE WALL!!

Here comes another big payoff to someone. El Chapo is going to start to realize he is being punked.

My daughter lives in Mexico and tells me that El Chapo is kinda like an old-time feudal lord. Sure, he breaks a few laws here and there but aside from the relatives of those who are killed, most people like him. He’s corrupt but so is the government and it’s easier to keep on his right side than that of the government. He does a lot of humanitarian stuff too, like seeing to it that widows and orphans get a place to live and food to eat. All things considered, he probably COULD be elected President - that is, IF the elections weren’t rigged.

El Chapo to run for president.

Don't laugh. It may keep Hillary of jail too.

Now, the next challenge: KEEPING HIM.

Why not execute him?

Only reason to keep this savage alive is to violently interrogate him
= = =

You are too kind.

The only reason to keep this savage alive is to get a HUGH bribe to ‘fail to stop an escape attempt’.
