The guy putting him in the choke hold may have been unnecessary. Boykin looked contained and somewhat cooperative. The choke hold may have escalated the situation. My reaction would be to fight if someone came up behind me and did that to me.

oregon sucked...they had that game locked up . I took them -8 and when they were up 31-0 I turned on a movie...I hate ducks now. AND Boynkin got to see how a real true 5th year sr QB team mate with heart wins.

When you have a belligerent drunk you use submission holds. It’s safer for everyone. Boykin should have to be a walk-on as far as the NFL is concerned.

It was an amazing game. TCU has character (except for Boykin), and that’s more important than the win. I’m also pleased that the Ducks lost despite the millions upon millions that their sugar daddy, Phil Knight, has poured into the program.
