Black players predominate in football because they completely dominate the speed positions. Ignore the dimwitted loon up at the blackboard writing, “race is a social construct; there are no performance differentials attributable to race.” The loon is a liberal, and should be committed. In the real world, everyone recognizes that racial differences yield important differentials with regard to athletic performance. Some of these favor white and Asian athletes in various sports. But athletes of West African heritage dominate speed events in every country that has a significant black population. When the African diaspora finally reaches China, the Chinese sprinters will be black as well. And when it comes to football, the majority of the positions on the field are speed positions.
I tried, but couldn’t read this insanity. I wasn’t sure if it was intended to be a parody or if the author was sincere. In any event it is a worthless piece of bullshit, not fit to waste any brain cycles upon.
I guess I’m old enough to remember when there weren’t black players and that WAS considered racist. (What’s wrong with this picture?)

I remember well the first time I had to compete against some black kids in a pickup football game. 4th or 5th grade. Five on five or something like that. They cleaned our clocks. They were just better than we were.
The NFL pays for skill. And they pay a lot. Yes, it is dangerous to your health but the last time I checked there was nothing mandatory about taking the big money and the big risk.
Actually, the topic of concussions is huge right now.

Nearly 30 percent of white NFL players are kickers, punters, or quarterbacks, all positions that have a much lower chance of being involved in concussion-causing collisions. The other 70% are involved in concussion-causing collisions.
I’m pretty sure that if you offered White Americans the chance to take the additional slots (if the NFL wanted to “equalize” the league), they’d jump at the chance. Concussion risk or not. Whatever their race, it’s all about the $$ and glory. If they don’t go into the NFL, many of these guys take blue or low-paying white collar jobs. Their favorite activity will be going down to the local bar and reminiscing about the glory days.
Soldiers put themselves in harm’s way for a heck of lot less and come away with more serious injuries or death.

The answer is android players. Predicted by The Jetsons, but they all had Polish names, for some reason.
The solution is to ensure, for the sake of fairness, that the NFL be compromised of men according to their percentage of the population - let them poor Blacks find another, less-lucrative profession.....
What about turning it into flag football. The only “skill” that is lost is the ability to inflict bone-jarring hits will be removed. Everything else, speed, agility, quickness will remain.
I suppose, though, that everyone would see it more for what it really is - a game. And who wants to play to watch grown men play a game? The gladiator effect is what takes it up a notch, makes us want to pay to watch.
The article has it a bit right. Racism does prevent white skill position players in football from being given equal consideration. Seen it first hand for decades. White players are described as having hustle, a motor etc... but speed, power, athleticism. You just don’t hear that. Then YOU Get Kids Like McCaffery who got shit out of the Heisman.
