Bill Cosby was charged Wednesday with felony assault over an alleged encounter with a woman 12 years ago.
"We are here to announce today charges that have just been filed against William Henry Cosby. These charges stem from a sexual assault that took place on an evening in early 2004," Montgomery County district attorney Kevin Steel said in a press conference. "Mr. Cosby is charged with aggravated indecent assault. This is a felony charge."
Cosby is expected to be arraigned on the charge this afternoon in Elkins Park, Pa.

I think Hillary needs to explain to the Black Lives Matter crowd why her husband walking free while Cosby is charged is NOT a matter of race. Would love to hear her try that.

If you think back you realize that celebrities are almost never convicted of serious crimes.William Kennedy Smith,Kobe Bryan,the Senior Senator from Chappaquiddick,Ray Lewis,OJ (first trial),Robert Blake,etc.
Also,with Cosby,if the accuser is white and there's even one black juror the best the state can hope for is a hung jury.

An old friend of mine worked as a driver on movie sets and for celebrity events back in the 1990’s. He drove Tom Cruise for the length of a movie filming in New York City, said he was a nice guy. As you might expect, this guy was clean cut and polite. Anyway, the nastiest person he ever dealt with as a driver was Bill Cosby.
It's more likely that it was the Former Twelfth Lady who puckered.No prosecutor,except maybe one with a true death wish,would ever bring charges against him...even if they had video of the crime and a taped confession.
Civil suits,though possible,are very unlikely because both the accusers and the lawyers know they'd experience a $hitstorm unlike anything they've seen in their worst nightmares.
At worst, Cosby will get probation, that seems to be what happens if you're famous and wealthy enough.
You can buy "justice" in the US today if you have the resources. Ethan Couch, the "affluenza" kid, killed 4 people and left another one paralyzed while drunk driving and just got probation. Robert Richards (heir to the DuPont fortune on his mother's side) raped his 2 year old daughter and also got probation, which for all intents and purposes is walking.
It won’t hurt Hillary in the least. Contrary to what some think here, Cosby is a democrat and a liberal. It doesn’t matter that Clinton is just as bad (which I don’t believe based on numbers alone) what does matter is how many Freepers defend this rapist.

BREAKING: Teen Girl Files Lawsuit Claiming Bill Clinton Is Her Father

A 16 year-old girl from Arkansas filed a lawsuit this week that could put an end to Hillary Clinton’s presidential chances for good.
Alyssa Gilmore, daughter of former secretary of the oval office Whitney Gilmore, claims that her mother had an affair with Bill Clinton between 1998 and 2001. She says she was conceived from this relationship, and has filed a paternity action lawsuit demanding Clinton take a paternity test to prove her claims.
According to World News Daily Report, the 16 year-old told the press:
“I know Bill Clinton is my father. I have many pictures of my mother and him and I know they were in love. He even gave me presents for Christmas and my birthdays when I was a kid, before he left my mother. I have spent many years writing him letters and calling him, hoping he would come back in my life. At first, he would write back and we spoke on the phone regularly, but he doesn’t even answer anymore. I just want him to take his responsibilities and recognize that he is my father, that’s all.”
Judge Henri Watkins of the Arkansas state court quickly decided that Gilmore had enough evidence to move forward. He ruled that presentation of evidence will begin next week on March 19.
Though Clinton was not in court when Gilmore filed the lawsuit this week, he did release a statement denying that he is her father.
“Whitney was indeed my secretary, and she has been a friend of both my wife and I for many years. I have worked with her for a few years, and I have met her daughter a few times. But we never had any sexual relationship and I am not the father of Alyssa Gilmore. This whole thing is just a diversion created by the Republican party to ruin Hillary’s chances in the run for presidency. I want to get this over with as soon as possible.”
Bill can whine about Republican conspiracy theories all he wants, but it appears that he has been caught with his hand in the cookie jar once again. This is far from the first time Bill Clinton has been accused of cheating on his wife, and it will likely not be the last.
If Alyssa Gilmore’s claims continue to make their way through the courts, it could definitively put an end to the Clintons’ chances of returning to the White House in 2016. We highly doubt that this family can survive another national sex scandal.
If the accusations came from one woman, or a group of women who were all acquainted with one another, it would be fair to say that I'd have no idea whether Cosby was guilty. The fact that there are dozens of independent accusations makes his innocence look extremely unlikely, unless you believe there is some grand conspiracy against Bill Cosby (who incidentally isn't the spokesman for conservatism some people here make him out to be: Cosby is a die-hard Obama supporter).
So what exactly is the difference between Bill Cosby and Bill Clinton, besides the drugging? Bill Cosby gets accused of being a rapist and he is a pariah, Bill Clinton does the same thing and America loves him. Look at Bill Cosby’s “Victims” 95 percent white, black on white crime, notice the media doesn’t bring that up
I wonder if Bill Cosby will play the race card to beat the charges against him, i.e. trying to frame the police and prosecutors as racists persecuting a black man. It worked for O.J. Simpson.
