At this point, that will require bloodshed on a mass scale to implement even if it survives ratification. The Ruling Class and half the population WANTS the Fascist mobocracy we are currently operating under. They DO NOT WANT what you and I do, and they are willing to riot, burn, pillage, loot and kill to get their way.
The Representative Republic we were established by, is only be able to exist so long as this people were a religious and moral people. WE ARE NOT THOSE PEOPLE ANY MORE. WE ARE A MINORITY. As such, a Constitution and a rule of law that we once had cannot govern a corrupt, immoral and vicious people.
That's the plain truth, whether you accept it or not.
You may be right, but the state legislatures are our only hope at this point. Progress is being made.

Agreed. That’s why we need President Trump—to use the power of the Presidency to protect the restoration of Constitution and our Republic. He KNOWS how profoundly our country is being subverted. That’s why he’s running. Is he going to make a campaign issue out of it? NO. He has enough to run on and win.
If the states impose term limits on Washington, pass a balanced budget amendment, repeal the 17th amendment, and reform the judiciary, I have no doubt that Trump would impose those changes and commit the full might and power at his disposal in protecting those changes.
