I organized regionally for Conservative causes, including political, social, and Operation Rescue in the 80's and 90's; and have experienced the tactics of the Left first hand. They have not changed.
I think by now we understand that when Obama said he would "Fundamentally change America", he meant it. He means to change it politically, socially,culturally into an Egalitarian Liberal utopia with strong Marxist principles;the kind that are fundamentally flawed will never work and never have.
Yes,this belief is delusional to the point of mental illness, among the true believers. Since they have to deny the failure of Socialism to maintain this delusion, practically everything they say and do must be a lie; and their politics base on a lie, mischaracterazation, and personal smear.
If they can not change the Country to their view of a political system and social justice; influenced by a deep hatred for America as founded - they will destroy it if they can. Already we have seen great devastation to our Constitution, and every day Obama and his minions grow more desperate to complete the job before his term is up.
Lies, threat, smear, and every form of intimidation is, and will be used against any persons who dare to publicly oppose them with the truth. White Male Privilege,Racism, Sexism,Exploitation of the Poor, War Against Women. All is designed to separate, divide, intimidate, and weaken our resolve to fight them politically and in the public arena.
Unfortunately, our "Conservative" elected representatives have not distinguished themselves as "profiles in courage". and most of the fighting have come down to you and I. This is good, but over time can not succeed without strong moral leadership in Washington and the White House.
We may have one last chance to save the Constitution as written, and government, as intended through the political institutions provided for redress of atrocities against it.

I was a platoon sergeant for all the conscientious objector and awol/deserters in the USMCR after Desert storm. That was a very eye opening experience for me. Before that I had no idea that the left was hell bent on destroying this country with any means possible. The end justifies the means. I’m sure that some of these guys are out and upfront in the current movement to collapse this country.
The irony is that IF they succeed in destroying this country (as we recognize it), they will mostly be located in cities (i.e. dependent upon the countryside and a fully functioning food-growing, food-processing and transportation infrastructure to merely eat), and they will also be on the short end of the stick regarding firearms (I am sure that fully 80% are located outside of cities, and that probably 90% of the expertise as to how to care for, use and reload them resides in the minds of those outside of the cities).
So, IOW, they are screwing themselves and they don’t even realize it.
Why in hell would we deceive ourselves to think that we can resist and overcome a complete velvet overthrow of our Republic by a Leftist Caliphate by simply voting for another person to high office when the Revolutionistas have corrupted every institution in the country and rigged it with cultural (and maybe literal) explosives should they not get their way?
Electing Cruz or Trump IS NOT GOING TO SAVE US.

Yes! It will help to get Trump elected—he can do a lot, like reversing EXO’s, trade, immigration, guns, taxes, economy, military and so on.
However, in addition, we need an Article V. REVOLUTION to restore the Constitution. Only that will sanitize our corrupt political system, balance the budget, reform the judiciary, rebalance power to the states, and re-strengthen the checks and balances that the Founders intended.

OTOH, it mostly yawns at the thought of the entire civil American society protecting itself from tyranny, from death to the civil society.
I believe that is 100% spot on. I have had commie libs tell me to my face, that they don't care if the country is destroyed, as long as white people get hurt by it. I wonder if their attitude will change, when white farmers stop producing food. They should be careful what they wish for. They might get it. Having said that, the more time goes on, the more I think these issues will NOT be settled peacefully. I don't like it, but I think it's coming. Their side doesn't want a peaceful solution.

Guns won’t save us from a tyrant who has the US military at his disposal. Obama has already conducted domestic training operations. The state legislatures are our only hope. Trump will help—but the entire system has to be purged.
