My America lets me “Meet at the pole” to pray (my kids did this in school) and lets one have a pic of themselves with their rifle, in their yearbook.
Just because a liberal/CommieCore principal disapproves shouldn’t mean this kid can’t have his chosen pic in the yearbook.
If you want an America that doesn’t support the above, then you know what YOU can do with THAT kind of America!!
Well said!
What a widdle mind you have. You completely missed the metaphor. As it happens, I am certain my knowledge of fine accommodations exceeds yours by far. That does not cause me to belittle people who love the out of doors and what is commonly called “Roughing it.” Be careful you don’t break a fingernail one of these days and have to call 911!
Is the principal a commie? Give me the facts.
Or is he just bound by rules?
Should he be fired because a kooky father (check out his loopy smile in the photos) sent his kid to a school that had rules he disagreed with? Why did he send the kid to that school? Public schools have these kind of rules - everybody knows that. Shouldn’t he have found alternate schooling or was it too much trouble to home school? How much money will dad make if he successfully sues the school? Who will pay for that? The ordinary tax payers? Yes, that’s who will pay - those who don’t give a damn whether that kid posed with a gun or posed with a kitten but may be dragged into this ludicrous fight.
And America collapses under this nonsense.
I’ll bet Trump would hire him!!!!!
Oh, go blow it out your blunderbuss, you silly old lady.
I bet you’re right!!
Heck, like I said, I bet lots of companies would....pending his interview, a look at his grades/testing, etc.
He could be a real catch, for a company.
Good grief, lady. You do realize you are on Free Republic, right?
From our founder....
As a conservative site, Free Republic is pro-God, pro-life, pro-family, pro-Constitution, pro-Bill of Rights, pro-gun, pro-limited government, pro-private property rights, pro-limited taxes, pro-capitalism, pro-national defense, pro-freedom, and-pro America.
You don’t even know what a blunderbuss is, let alone how to use it. I am well aged, but NOT “old.” Nor am I silly. You take the cake for silly....and obsolete.
In my high school senior picture, I had a picture of myself in a shirt and tie, but next to it was me in a T shirt and jeans with me with my train set. My classmate regular picture was him growing marijuana plants...he is now a Drug Enforcement Agent...
Who wears ties to school nowadays? Most kids here are in polo shirts and khakis or shorts.
Lady, you don’t realise that this is a pro-gun site? Please, go back to DU...
Charming, if true.
I’ve been a member of the NRA for years and support gun rights and revere the 2nd Amendment, so don’t pull that nonsense with me. I’ve been a member here since 2001 so I don’t need to be told what this site is.
The father is a drama queen who is suing the school and wants the principal fired because - what was that again? He wanted a certain photo inserted into the yearbook? It seems we have a lot of people throwing around their rights these days without any ever taking any responsibility.
If he felt so bad about his son being so put upon, he should have home-schooled him or looked for a school that had different standards and rules. He sent him to a public school which, of course, was not going to allow that particular photo.
As always, people are choosing to read some of my posts without reading others and jumping to ludicrous conclusions.
.....and Saturday, and Sunday, and Monday....
Well stated.
A few generations of universal brain-washing with the attitude that guns are evil and therefore only evil people have guns, the 2nd Amendment has no defenders.
Thank you. I appreciate it.
I wonder how long it took the principal to crawl out from his safe place under his desk after he was assaulted by the microaggression of this photo.
Did school district lawyers have to talk him out?
