Dr. Curry ask to respond to “denier” charge from Sen. Markey, and cites IPCC in her testimony. Steyn spars with Sen. Markey while Markey acts like he’s an authoritarian on the issue.

thanks for the post. I was looking for the video after hearing Steyn on the Howie Carr radio show after the meeting..needless to say, Markey was crucified on air...

Prior to becoming a life-long pol and leeching off the taxpayers, Markey’s ONLY job EVER was driving an ice cream truck. Granted, it was HIS ice cream truck, so he showed a little streak of entrepreneur-ism...

It is 3:50AM EST. I'm shot. Have to in a few hours go for cardiac stress tests.
On the thought you and I shared on another post, on this issue.
I did searches at CSPAN. They never arhived the videos.
Even thought the hearings took place in mid April of this year. So it looks like we shall not be able to view the whole Senate hearing in detail on this issue. Do have a great upcoming day.

Testifying before Congress on ANY subject is like having a conversation with a dead person. When we realize that the people we are talking to are NOT the brightest bulbs in the package, you begin to understand the futility of changing their “minds”. What can be done is resistance and civil disobedience. Take away their power to control and they are nothing.

I had a Chemistry professor who testified before Congress when tetra ethyl lead(TEL) was going to be replaced by benzene derivatives in gasoline. In his testimony, my professor warned about replacing one cancer causing additive with a more lethal additive. He came back furious at the closed minds he encountered.
