I am searching for the original threads on September 11th. I have a couple bookmarked. The reason I am searching is that perhaps there were contemporary posts at the time Muslims were scene celebrating the destruction of the Twin Towers within those threads. There might even be video links involved, though no doubt dead links by now. Who knows? Thanks for the help. It is interesting to read the real time posts of that day...
I remember seeing images of muslims reported to be in the USA dancing and cheering the event, but I seem to remember that they were in FL.
The celebrating scum were despicable, but to this day it was some Clintonista on a talking head show lamenting that because of timing we didn’t get to see Bill’s greatness that still gets me steamed.
I recall them cheering that day. I was thinking about this yesterday in relation to the fog of time and how we retain ideas. My money would be about news views from NJ and reports from Arabs in the west bank.

I read about celebrating in Seattle - in the SeaTac area.
And, I remember a drawing of a plane crashing into the WTC ad this had been circulated amongst the Muslim community well before the attack. As I recall this was in NY or NJ.
Does anyone else remember seeing that drawing - it might have been on 60 minutes, not sure. It was a bit crude. I remember being shocked that they knew this was coming and said nothing.
I don’t remember if I posted about it, but I was at Mesa College in San Diego (2 of the hijackers went to another school that was affiliated - Miramar College and lived down the block from me). The morning of 9/11 many of us gathered to watch the footage and a fight broke out in the cafeteria because muslim students were cheering the news reports and the Sailors and Marines were not gonna take it. This led to a shut down of campus and about an hour later all students were escorted off campus class by class by armed military escorts. I drove the 20 mins back to Mira Mesa where we lived only to find out I couldn’t get home until I proved where I lived. I do have first hand knowledge of muslims celebrating the attacks.
And you know he was lying because? You may not have seen it in JC, but I did see it in San Diego.
I want to thank everyone for their replies. I was gone and making the annual Heart Attack Stuffing for the group that is coming up for T-Day. I will bookmark this thread so I can go through all the replies.
It is more in likely that the posts regarding Muslims celebrating might occur in the days right after 9-11 as the events of that day begin to sink in. All the side issue begin to come into focus after dealing with the horrendous attack.

It did happen, and I saw it.
Donald Trump is telling the truth about Muslims celebrating in New Jersey on September 11, 2001.
I drove with family members though Patterson, N.J. that morning, after the planes hit. It’s not the kind of thing you forget.
We witnessed people in traditional Muslim garb dancing, jumping, shouting and celebrating like their team had won the Super Bowl, just as Trump said.

Trump is a shameless fraud. Whatever the apocryphal story is, the fact is there were not thousands celebrating in JC on 9/11.
His claim is an insult to Jersey City and to the muslims that live there. He is slandering my neighbors and my City, people I know and grew up with.
I remember everything about that day and would have remembered if what he said occurred had happened. Until this week I never heard that such a thing occurred in JC.
He is shamelessly using lies about a national tragedy that hits too close to home for me to further his political career. That is unforgivable.
His comments prove he does not have the moral wherewithal we need in a President.
Because I live here and remember everything about that day having seen the Towers get hit fall and burn with my eyes and having had friends who died there. So yes, I have some basis for my post unlike trump.
I was in a bar at a pretty nice hotel when the OJ Simpson verdict of not guilty was announced and I saw many black people in that establishment (dressed in business attire) stand up, cheer loudly and hug and high-five one another at that time. So I do not find it hard to believe that many Muslims in the U.S. cheered on 9/11.
