NEW YORK, Nov. 17 (UPI) -- Zac Brown Band, Eric Church, Jamie Foxx, Sting, Tori Kelly, John Legend, Miguel, Pink and Pharrell Williams are to perform at Wednesday's Shining a Light: A Concert for Progress on Race in America.
The sold-out event will be taped in Los Angeles and will air as a two-hour special Friday on A&E, History, Lifetime, H2, LMN and FYI, as well as iHeartMedia radio stations and AOL.com.
--snip--
"The concert will kick off A+E Networks' campaign to confront issues of race, and promote unity and progress on racial equity, inspired by the response of the Mother Emanuel family members in Charleston and others working for reconciliation and change around the country," a news release said. "The concert and the ancillary programming will help raise money for the Fund for Progress on Race in America powered by United Way Worldwide. The fund will provide grant funding to individuals and organizations fostering understanding, eliminating bias, as well as provide support to Mother Emanuel A.M.E. Church and the broader A.M.E. denomination. The fund will support efforts to address racism and bias through public policy change, individual innovation, and community mobilization."

So sick of this crap. I saw a commercial on A&E as well and promptly changed the channel. It is about violence and hate against black people right.
Gang-bangers get in free with a gun donation
This white boy aint gonna watch some asshole show about libtards who hate my race. F em all. The line up sucks monkey ass too.
While ignoring the Knockout Game and the much more frequent black-on-white crimes, no doubt.
I’ve also been seeing the ads for it but I won’t be watching. It’s going to be nothing but white shaming and how the world would be unicorns and skittles if not for us evil white people.
Isn’t it ironic that every color of person is supposed to be proud except white people? And we’re the only ones that really don’t care about skin color.
Don’t hold back bro, tell us how you really feel! LOL
I no country music fan but I thought I liked Eric Church, .........guess not.
What a load of bullshiite.
I approve of this message.
So, are they going to shine a light on the biggest racists, the biggest problem in America today, the Blacks?
They are all going to get on stage and sing “We Shall Ovecome”, right? Some will cry and feel ashamed of being white. I would barf, but I won’t be watching.
What a racist title...shining a light, like WHITE is better, is something that should be poured upon us? We should be bathed in BLACK, not WHITE, you racist pigs of dog mothers.
100%
How did Eddie Murphy say it on SNL? ... ‘’Silly Negroes’’
Does anyone remember DC’s “Human Kindness Day”?
Another left-wing circle jerk.
No I haven’t heard and would never watch. However, I find it interesting the the majority of singers/bands are white.
