An Illinois bride died just minutes after saying "I do" to the love of her life when the motorcycle she and her groom were riding to their reception crashed, family said.
Jana Miles-Burnett exchanged vows with William Burnett, 31, in a city park in Buckner, Illinois about 6:30 p.m. Saturday ...
It was during the procession that a deer ran onto the road and into the newlyweds' lane, causing a crash that threw Miles-Burnett, 40, to the ground ...

Yet, they are state and federally funded/protected entities. I don’t really care much for the “tall rabbits”, being domiciled by the urbanites. The withering diseases, are spreading from “free-prange protections.” No biggie.
30,000 people die in road accidents each year, 4500 on motorcycles.
Let's assume that all non-motorcycle deaths are car deaths.
That means there is one car death for every 10,000 cars and one motorcycle death for every 2,000 motorcycles.
Motorcycles are five times as deadly as cars.
Hence, "donorcycles."
Yes, I ride my bike on designated bike/walking trails, but avoid streets and highways. My cousin, about 35 years ago when he was about 20, was hit and killed RIDING ON THE SHOULDER of a road by a lady who darted out onto the shoulder to pass a car ahead of her which was waiting to make a left turn. Now, if had been wearing a helmet, he would likely be alive today, but he still got run over.
Say 100 people drive or ride in cars, and 10 drive or ride on motorcycles.
If five car people die of head injuries and only one motorcycle person dies of head injuries, what have we learned?
...
People abuse statistics, don’t they? I also wonder if motorcycle victims are sometimes too damaged to be donors.
Oh, and those figures are from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.
Just damn.
You will be together in heaven.
Damn.
Godspeed.
>>Oh, and those figures are from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.<<
Your figures make a lot of sense, as does your analysis.
My hypothetical demonstrates that abuse.
I followed up with actual data that shows that motorcycles are far more dangerous than my hypothetical.
While it may be the case that a higher proportion of motorcycle fatalities have more damage, the average motorcycle gives you five times as many corpses as the average car.
Probably much more, because I'm going to guess that the average car has more passengers than the average motorcycle.
There are only 9 million motorcycles in the US? There’s got to be more than that, that’s like almost none.
This is very sad, may the poor bride rest in peace.
That's a lot of motorcycles!
my childhood best friend died on the way to his wedding September 25, 1982. He was late, the best man was hung over, so, he was speeding to pick him up, lost control around a curve, got hit broadside, died later at the hospital.
whatever happened to going to the reception in a limousine????
It could be that the fatal head injury victims of motorcycle accidents are not in good enough shape to be donors.
RIP.
