The driver of a ultra-rare LaFerrari spent $1.4 million on the luxury supercar - only to crash it mere minutes later.
The man behind the wheel - thought to be from Italy - is believed to have lost control of the car and hit four others parked on the side of the road.

"The car slipped out of control when the owner tried to suddenly accelerate," Moldvan told the Mirror Online.
"The driver didn't say much and hasn't really been under much stress after the crash. He lit up a cigar while he was taking out the cover for the car from the trunk."

TARD.
But hey, at least he didn't but a P-51 Mustang...
A friend of mine bought a new and was driving it home from the dealership. He was also paying a little too much attention to the radio tuning buttons as he reset them to his preferences. That’s when he slammed into a parked car and totaled his new one.
About 40 years ago, I did a frame-off rebuild of a 55 Chevy pickup, then lovingly stuffed a 500+ hp 427 in it. Took me 6 months to get it not done, but road worthy.
That afternoon I had a blast, but finished the day totaling the truck.
Happens more often than you think.
Just because you can afford a Super-Car, doesn’t mean you know how to drive one.
The same applies to 4-wheel drive SUV’s. You’d be utterly amazed at how many you’ll see on their roofs along I-65 north of Lafayette, In, in any given winter storm.
My dad’s an electrician, I can fix it.
God knows there have been enough of those dumbasses over the years. Arrogance and plenty of money have gotten a lot of people killed in warbird aviation.
And it looks like he was trying to pass on the right. Good thing he kept going right, instead of into oncoming cars.
was the driver a Son Of a Billionaire?
I can do this one better. I had an accident test driving a car. I was fussing with something on the dashboard when BOOM, I hit the car in front of me at a stoplight.
It wasn’t a Ferrari though. It was a Ford Tempo. Back in the 1990s. Or maybe 1980s. It was the one time a car salesman wanted to get rid of me. They never called me back. Ended up buying a Nissan.
I feel for the guy. Happened to me once too...
That’ll buff right out.
That’ll buff right out.

LaFerrari is now LaWreak.
Years ago when I picked up my first Porsche the salesman took me around the Porsche owned dealership to show me their facility. They had a state of the art painting booth which held a brand-new turbo that had heavy damage on its front end. He told me it was newly owned by a Cleveland Browns running back famous for “The Fumble”. Apparently he had taken his brand-new car over to show his ex-wife. He persuaded her to drive the car and she hit a telephone pole just down the street from her home
I got a new 3/4 ton Ford and on the way home almost jiggled off the dirt road on a curve. It took a few weeks for the springs and suspension to settle in and become controllable.
Bears repeating. Observing the geezers driving faster Porches and Corvettes, it strikes me that when someone can finally afford such cars, they are way past the time when they should be driving same.
A Camry would be better suited to most of them with the skills and driving style I see.
Some don’t seem to realize that four wheel drive makes it easier to go through snow but it is no help at all when it comes to stopping or controlling the vehicle. In fact I had a 79 Cherokee with full time four wheel drive and I think it would fishtail more than a rear wheel drive would. The same thing with towing heavy trailers, some people think they need a huge engine to tow a trailer when what they need most is more braking power. The average driver needs a monster engine like he needs a hole in the head.
