Your kitteh will probably mark the day with a nap, a romp with a paper bag, a nibble of kibble and another nap.
But you can be as ambitious or as low-key as you like with your own National Cat Day celebrations.

EVERY DAY is “Cat Day”...just ask the cat!
In some communities, they celebrate by taking the cat out for a Wok.
That’s better
Is that you, Dahmer?
Eat at a Chinese restaurant. I like General Meow’s chicken.
Yes... those jokes are “out of character” for me, I know...
Think in celebration I’ll grab one on the way home. Love cats, but could never finish a whole one, even smothered in BBQ sauce.
Normally, I’d probably chuckle at that. But we had to put one cat down last month, got another one that is very ill, and one that may be suffering the ravages of old age that I was at the vet with when I found this thread.
Sorry, no chuckle today.
Rent a kitty today!
( should probably be is separate kitty post)
I love my puttys!
How do you make a dog sound like a cat?
Put him through a circular saw.
MEEOOOWWW!

So sorry for your kitty troubles! :-(
We lost our 21-year old Bridget last March when it was obvious her body was shutting down. We had her euthanized so as not to prolong the pain. Sweet old kitty!
My cat poops on the edge of the litter pan. I’ll celebrate National Cat Day (DANG!) by beating his butt.
j/k.
I thought today is National Coffee Day , ? ,
Then stroll down to the CAThedral for your CAThecism class. Then go to the store for some CATawba grape juice. then take your car in to get your CATalytic convertor checked...

ooppss,, my bad,, looks like I was wrong..
Today is Hermit Day !! lol
Same thing happened with Gracie. Came on fast too. Sucks.
The very ill Sophie has a hyper thyroid problem. Normal is a “2”, hers is a “20”! Don’t know what kicked that into high gear, neither does the vet, but not a happy kitty.
Flaky as it maybe my cats are my life. Just lost Bacci in September, he was 15.5 and Samantha Anna passed 11/2/13 at the age of 16.
Its like a lost loved one, you accept as time passes but you always miss them like heck.
Goes back to God like everything should, the love is never lost, God keeps it to shore us up when life is hard as it sometimes is. Rambled...have a great day CATSTERS!
