I’m sick and tired of the Bushes, but that is a low blow by Trump.
Because nothing says "informed voter" than supporting an amnesty candidate because Trump criticizes GWB, a RINO failure under whose watch the illegal alien invasion reached critical mass.

I have an even bigger objection to Bush not going to war with the Saudi’s since they were the state sponsors of terrorism responsible for 911. Objection #2 was that he went after Saddam under false pretenses. And Objection #3 was that he piddled along, wasting human and monetary treasure for years and not winning in either Iraq or Afghanistan! All of these failings gave us Obola!
Classless is what is accused when one can’t come up with something better, like Trump (hypothetically) having no better plan than Bush did under those circumstances.
Trump was just replying to a stupid tweet from Jeb. He is not the one who brought up this subject.

George HW Bush is a globalist who was forced on RR as a condition of GOPe support, and the country has lived to regret that decision. The Bushes were not good presidents and they brought us Barak Obama. The other thing that really pisses me off is that they’re buddy-buddy with Slick Willie. No more Bushes, no more Clintons, underneath they are all the same $hit!
What was the story with the Saudis. How did the support of the terrorists occur. Did it stop after 9/11.
I think we could pretty much rule out the wisdom of an attempt to conquer SA. We wouldn’t have had the slightest clue what to do with it. Muslims need a stern kingdom and America piddled around trying to install democracies where the people are ill suited to it.
H.W. couldn’t wait to undo the Reagan Revolution once he got into the White House.

Those excuses did not prevent him from being a great President on 9/12.
Bush has to share some of the blame. He’d been President for 9 months when this thing happened. He didn’t see it coming. But there were a lot of people warning us about Al Qaeda and Osama Bin Laden long before he was elected.
Oh? We didn’t get hit on 9/11/2001? I bet 3000 families will be glad to hear that.

NO ONE SAW IT COMING!!!! That’s Trump’s point. Bush has to own “no one saw it coming,” because he WAS president when it happened. And now “we are kept safe” via the abuses of the TSA and indeed all of the HSA goons, although they can’t even conduct a successful catch on a fabricated “intrusion.” But what the hey, we all like to have some guy with rubber gloves grab are balls at the airport now don’t we!
He had Jeb taken out already but now he just threw him a potential lifeline. He could have just ignored Jeb now and let him fade away. Trump shot himself in the foot.
