If the facts presented are true, she is wrong.

Apparently this woman wants to be sitting in jail for a long time.

Some one should really train her as to when it is justifiable to fire.

Sorry, but deadly force should ONLY be used in cases of personal defense or stopping violent crime/felonies.

Citizens should NOT shoot at shoplifters.

She would be facing murder charges had she been a good shoot.

Poor decision on her part.
Save firearms for life-threatening situations.

I always liked Woolworths. They had a pretty decent sporting goods department.

One of my earliest jobs was in the Automotive department at Kmart. The memories - not so pleasant.

Too bad.

Lucky for her she missed. Had she hit him, she'd likely be facing attempted murder charges.....as should be.

Firing a weapon is IMO only permissible when preventing obvious bodily harm to your yourself or another.

The law states the same.

I agree it was a poor decision. But not as bad as the headline and lead paragraph would indicate. She didn’t shoot at the robber, she shot at one of the tires on his car as he pulled out.

That’s not better that’s dumber.
More likely to hit a bystander pulling that TV kind of crap.
