I knew someone was going say that! I just noticed that when I posted the pic. He gets carried around a lot and sleeps in the bed so those things don’t get worn down much. :) He’s my little guard creature.
I clipped my boxer’s toenails too short once and they bled. He would NEVER let me touch his nails again. BTW, if that ever happens, the vet told me to soak the paw in baby powder. That stops the bleeding.
You should see when my daughter and I have to trim my cat’s claws. I have to hold her hanging in mid air while my daughter wraps her body with a thick towel (I’m wearing thick leather welding gloves holding her neck and one front paw tightly. She then clips the free paw....and then the back claws
Dangerous work, really. The cat HATES it. Howls all the way through it kicking, biting, etc.
