Anger as Clemson football coach is cut off by ESPN as he began thanking 'the good Lord' during post-game interview [ Full title ].

Clemson head football coach Dabo Swinney was accidentally cut off during his post-game interview with ESPN as he was thanking 'the good Lord'.

Following the Clemson Tigers 24-22 win against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, Swinney was giving an emotional speech when the cameras suddenly cut to SportsCenter hosts Jay Harris and Kevin Connors, who were unaware as they worked on their iPads, before cameras cut back to Swinney.

ESPN senior director of public relations, Keri Potts, wrote on Twitter shortly after the incident saying the accident happened as a result of an 'error in TV transmission,'

...

Some users hit out at ESPN on social media suggesting it cut off the message because Swinney mentioned God.

One Twitter user wrote: 'you people suck at lying, have you not realized that. You broadcast all night and then have a blurb during a God moment....BS.'

Another wrote: 'Knowing how PC correct ESPN has become, I can see it being done on purpose. And of course they would lie.

No matter what utter sXit the TV piles on so called conservatives, many always seem to find a reason they are special little snowflakes and therefor have a special excuse that absolves them.

If he thanked “allah” everything would have been fine.

It has always been that way. BTW, the only people who can thank God openly are black people. If white people do it, that means they take their faith seriously and are probably conservatives.

No, it didn't. A transmission error would give you a black screen, or garbled video. Even if the video engineer is on top of stuff, an actual problem would show on the tv before he switched. But a clean cut like they had means he switched it for other reasons, most likely the God-mention.

ESPN is owned by Disney, and Disney is anti-Christian. That is why Christians ought not support Disney with their dollars.

He should count himself lucky that one of Obama’s Christian-hating acolytes didn’t gun him down on the spot...
