That brought back some memories.

I don’t know if it is on youtube but the scene in Sgt. York where Pastor Pyle is singing “That Old Time Religion” while Sgt. York comes forward is one of the great scenes of all time.

Only Walter Brennan could jump around like that and not look silly at all.

I was just looking at a Bible which Mother presented to me when I was 9 years old.

March 7, 1956. I was 9 years old. That was on a Wednesday.
Probably given to me before prayer meeting as Mother and Daddy had us in church every time it was open.
