Only one side was standing by her and it wasn’t her party.

Cruz and Huckabee came to her side and gave her support.

Nor was it far too many ‘conservatives’ on Free Republic.
To: cripplecreek
Wrong move. She should have registered as an Indy. Why register with the party of democRAT light?

**because the Democrats no longer represented them**
In reality they probably never did.
That being said I guess they just didn’t like how the Dems chewed them up and spit them out, all in the interest of pandering to an incredibly small demographic.

True enough. ‘Conservatism’ is a pretty loose definition these days.

I just pinged one who referred to her as a "hay-seed hag".

These idiots should, like Bhoner, be mocked and shunned. In that order.
Far too much liberalism in conservatism these days.

Exactly. proud to say that I never was a Pubbie nor registered to any political party except FR. What were those articles on Fr last week stating there is no difference between a socialist liberal and Dummycrat?
Christians who identify as Dummycraps are imbeciles who require a lobotomy. The party of fags and abortions and those were not enough to convince you it’s satan’s party?

I’m surprised it took her this long to wake up. The acrid animus that her former Party has for her Christian beliefs and values has been well known for decades.

Reading about the Apostolic Christian Church, which I hadn't heard of before: ". In the early 1900s a disagreement arose over the practice of some European customs (namely, the wearing of a mustache) and the church split into two bodies (from 1901 to 1911)." People will disagree about anything, given the chance.

Wrong move. She should have registered as an Indy. Why register with the party of democRAT light? It's mostly significant that she LEFT the party of the left.

It's mostly significant that she LEFT the party of the left.I get that. But if she thinks the GOP represents conservative principles she is going to be very disappointed. Sure, Huckabee and Cruz supported her when she was released from jail. But this is an election season; they probably wouldn't have gotten involved if it weren't.

What I tol’ ya’?
I said it a few days ago in another thread, and I was the first one, watch her switch parties, Republicans are the only ones supporting her. Democrats threw her under the bus.
Glad to see it but I agree with some of the other comments, going independent would be just as good, the GOP hasn’t exactly been making itself look good lately...
