It's mostly significant that she LEFT the party of the left.
I get that. But if she thinks the GOP represents conservative principles she is going to be very disappointed. Sure, Huckabee and Cruz supported her when she was released from jail. But this is an election season; they probably wouldn't have gotten involved if it weren't.

I said it a few days ago in another thread, and I was the first one, watch her switch parties, Republicans are the only ones supporting her. Democrats threw her under the bus.
Glad to see it but I agree with some of the other comments, going independent would be just as good, the GOP hasn’t exactly been making itself look good lately...
