The real fears are these:
1. The natural (not man-caused) weather, geological and other changes will cause many to lose their investments and have no place to keep them.
2. Resources will become even much more scarce, also causing the most influential political constituents to lose control of production, markets and the populace.
Hence, hand-wringing and blaming of the peasant populace for breathing. It’s kind of like passing gas and blaming and beating the dog for it.
Awesome! Ice free would be great! High CO2 plus warm temp would be the greatest boon to life on earth.
Once the fire starts the atmospheric oxygen will be fixed as CO2 (its' heaver than air...) which as we all know has a major use in fire extinguishers...
Hmmm One wonders if they tinkered with that under their models hood?

The actual temperatures were 48F to 68F/74F and thereabouts. The automated system has been malfunctioning for months. NWS says its a problem with the FAA instrument and beyond their control. The Skagit Port Authority responsible for the airport contracted with a local tenant to operate the automated instrument. The contractor reports the need for maintenance, if and when the public gets on their case, but the maintenance so far has failed to resolve the problems for many months now. So, the NWS reports what is sent to them, erroneous or not. See KNUW Ault Field, Whidbey Naval Air Station for a nearby comparison to actual air temperatures.
I thought that might be where the big fires in Washington state were happening....womder how many other automated weather stations are like this.

I am thinking a nice piece of real estate in Greenland, away from all the hustle and bustle.
The KBVS airport is located within a few miles of the sea coast on Puget Sound and nearby to Anacortes on Fidalgo Island and a few miles from Burlington and Mount Vernon father inland to the east. Ault Field, Whidbey Island, Naval Air Station (KNUW) is located on the next island south of Fidalgo Island and about 18 miles southwest of KBVS. The air temperatures tend to be somewhat similar due to their proximities to the sea coast in the same local area.
Here is a wide angle view from atop Mt. Erie on Fidalgo Island which covers the location of KBVS in the distance on the left side of the view and KNUW in the distance seen on the right side of the view.
If the link does not work, use Google Map to locate Mt. Erie and use the StreetView to pickup the blue dots representing the camera locations atop Mt. Erie.

I have a computer model that shows that burning all the fossil fuels will cause the earth to loose its atmosphere and freeze.
When was the last time these climate change buffoons computer models were even close to predicting “climate change”?
