Two years ago a 71 old acquaintance of mine, a Vietnamese emigre, got me to take him around to get his physical and his paperwork together to get ready to go back to Viet Nam. His English was not good. He knew a lot of it and understood English but his pronunciation was only understandable to me because I had got used to it over 16 years.
