I've got Squeek who has lived with me for about 12 years now and people tell me I should get her a companion cat.
Can't bring myself to do it since I made a pledge to her when I brought her home that I would never scold or abuse her and she would have complete reign of the house...........I fulfilled my promise.
At my age, I don't want to have an animal that will now outlive me if I can't guarantee them a future home when I pass...........
