Hubert Tang is a very lucky man.
As he was walking along the street outside San Francisco International Airport, Tang found a $20 bill.
While most people would consider that find to be lucky enough, Tang says something compelled him to buy a lottery ticket.
Tang told KPIX that he hadnt played the lottery in more than 10 years, but decided to use his find to buy two $1 Million Jackpot! Scratchers.
I scratched the ticket outside of the store. I told my friend whom I was with that I didnt know if it was real, but I think I just won a million dollars, he said.
Tang says he doesnt have any plans to quit his job or make any big purchases.
Instead, the money has been put into a savings account.
Maybe Ill start leaving $20 bills on the street in random places, he said.
Actually, he might be lucky to get his money. This is Illinois' lottery.
Just saw the article on local news here.
Assumed it was Illinois.
How do you know but that the ‘loser’ was actually a good man, perhaps had done a great kindness at some point, and Life is just paying him back?

One guy, from Florida, ended up underneath a driveway cement slab because he told the wrong person.
If I won, nobody would know. I’d be living in a different province or state and living fairly low key.
I find money fairly often but I never spend it on lottery tickets.”
Just don’t do it in Illinois.
I just saw this. How lucky can you get. First finding the 20 spot and able to buy lottery tickets and then win a million. Lucky day for him.
You are just a blast to be around I am sure. How do you know he is a loser?
He’ll have his rent paid for the next 30 years. I’ll take that.
Ten bucks says that he,like most big lottery winners, will be in bankruptcy court within 5 years.
I think that was the $20 that I lost near SFO. Do I have a claim on the $1 million?
I’d spend it on women and partying.
The rest I’d just waste.
:)
You mean the $20?
LOL!
Yeah, I likes them $20 party girls.
:)
I bear no ill will to those who obtain money easily (provided it’s not stolen) but I think in many cases easy money is not a blessing. If you follow lottery winners long enough you will find many are eventually less happy than before winning.
Even when it is earned, it can create problems.

Part of the problem is that mist people haven’t mapped out their option in the event of a win
