What was interesting was a television show where a conservative Christian and liberal feminist both agreed it was bad.
The conservative Christian hated it for attacking the concept of biological sex. Because the book clearly tried to state that you could switch genders and be born the wrong one.
The liberal feminist hated it for implying that girls liking sports suggested they were really box and boys liking cooking might be girls, in short, for the book upholding radical divisions in sexual roles.
